Fulfilling the two promises
In the last few days I have learnt many valuable lessons. Roxx has sacrificed his life to save my own. And I am going to repay his debt. The revenge on the world Government and the celestial Dragon can wait. Now that I can stay alive for who knows how long, I am going to take my sweet time taking my revenge. Let the world government think that I died. I am just curious about that wild boar.
What was his name again?

I wonder if he survived. Unfortunately I couldn't stay there to see the result. Did sinking in the ocean for a long time kill him ?
I doubt that.
There were more than 30 Marine ships waiting in the distance. Probably on standby on the orders of the five elders. I didn't drop him long away from the island.
So if they hurry, they can easily rescue him in time. But I don't care anymore. While killing them all is still my main goal, I think that it is not the right time for it yet.
But back to the matter at hand it seems that the island next to the small Island I had reached is Arabasta, the desert island. The sand dunes at the distance and the messive peace of land that, I can't see the border of, is definitely Arabasta.
I went inside the cabin.
The maeshift coffin was in the living quarters while Kureha was silently sitting beside it.
The last few days has been full of headaches.
Mainly because I had to spend a lot of time convincing the girl not to blame herself for the situation.
After a lot of convincing she finally started to open up and stopped blaming herself. But the atmosphere is still gloomy. It should be. Roxx was her grandfather and with his corpse lying beside her, it was natural for her to be sad.
"We have reached an island. And from it's looks, I think that this is the desert country of Arabasta." I told Kureha to break the silence.
".... Okay." Kureha answered blankly.
"You should eat something. I have left some soup and a fried fish in the kitchen. You haven't eaten anything since yesterday." I told her
"...*sigh* Okay, but let me take a bath fi-"
*Boom*splash*
Before Kureha could finish her sentence, a loud explosion and the sound of splashing water was heard.
"Fine go take a bath. I will see what is going on." I said to Kureha and went outside to deal with the problem.

Maki, upon coming outside, saw a pirate ship approaching them. Their ship didn't have a particular flag mentioning that they are just travellers. So they are the main targets of the pirates.
The Jolly Roger of the pirates looked funny. It was the skull of a mouse with two crossed spheres.
The pirate ship was a big galleon. So from our small caravel, the ship looked almost intimidating.
Jokes aside our ship didn't have a cannonball.
Actually I was very lucky to find this abandoned caravel and that Island.
It was still in good condition. Just making new sails did the job.
The ship came closer while firing cannonballs at us. So I jumped up and caught one of the cannonballs that was about to hit the main mast of the ship. At first I thought about throwing the cannonball at their ship in Garp's style and sink it. But then I decided again it. We didn't have any fund left. And even if those pirates lack any treasure, I could easily sell that large ship for at least 150 millions.
So I threw the cannonball towards another incoming cannonball that was threatening to hit the cabin of our ship.
After that I jumped up and used geppo to reach their ship before they reach our's.

"I said to jump willingly. Or I will tie all of you and then throw you in the ocean. And I am sure your captain who has eaten a devil fruit will definitely die in that case. So scram before I change my mind." I said to them.
"Gyaaaah ! Monster ! Let's just jump !" The funny looking, half human half mouse like man screamed and jumped into the ocean.
I have captured a few chore boys to operate the ship. But apart from them everyone else jumped to the ocean.

"*Sigh* I went to bath and you already captured a pirate ship ?" Kureha sighed.
"They were foolish enough to attack us. Well, not exactly foolish but uninformed. But why are you complaining anyway ? We can get a good amount by selling this one." I asked her.
"Well I am not complaining. I was just surprised. *Sigh* I shouldn't be surprised anymore. Arrrghhh ! Why the hell I am talking like an old lady !" Kureha ranted.
It was relieving that she was dealing with the After math pretty well.
We reached in the port of Nanohana. But before that I have already taken down the Jolly Roger from the pirate ship so that it wouldn't scare away the people. So we were able to dock both the ships pretty easily.
After searching for a while we finally found A trader who was ready to buy the ship for 160 millions. The ship was in top notch condition. So I got a better cries than I anticipated. After getting the money we booked an inn and stayed There. Kureha decided to take Roxx's coffin with her. It took me 5 days to search for the local black market, where I could buy an eternal log pose for the drum island. But since money wasn't an issue, and Kureha was ready to stay for a few days, it wasn't a problem.

It took us five days to reach the drum island. At first, the king was refusing to return the house of a 'traitor of the marines'. But after a good chat and healthy dose of threat , the king changed his mind. This king was a lot more wiser than Wapol after all. After getting the approval of the king, Kureha got back her grandfather's house, which was still there. After that we holded the funeral for Roxx.
After staying for a couple of days I decided to leave. Even though the marines have already cancelled my bounty, I decided not to stay there for a long time. So before leaving I decided to bid my goodbye to Roxx.
"May your soul rest in peace." I poured the bottle of the wine Roxx liked on his grave. After that I poured it in three cups.
"Hey Kureha,.... let's be sisters." I handed over the cup to her.
"Who want to be sister with you ! Bastard !...
*Clink* I have gone crazy, maybe that's why I am doing this." Kureha gulped down the entire cup in one go.
I followed her afterwards.
"Make sure to visit this sister of yours." Kureha snatched away the bottle of wine and started to drink it in one go.
"Sure...."
...
I looked back at the drum island in the distance. Kureha's figure almost disappearing from the coast.
Now, it was time for to fulfill my first promise. My destination was east blue.
