Chapitre 72: A nightmare (auxiliary chapter)
AN: The theory exams of my fourth semester, are finally going to start from July 20th and will continue till August 1st. During this time, I will not post any chapters here. But like before I am not going to stop posting the chapters in my p@treon AnimefanfictionInd. There will be at least one chapter per day there. Obviously if possible, I will try to write more chapters.
A nightmare
Kureha fell into the sea and started to drown. It felt unreal. Even though she knew how to swim, her limbs betrayed her and she started to sink. It felt unreal. Even though she was drowning and couldn't breathe, she wasn't feeling the discomfort she should feel. There was a suffocating feeling. But it wasn't as intense as it should. Kureha didn't feel well. It was obvious that she was about to die from drowning. But the urgency that she should feel from that intense situation, was no where to be found.
When she was about to reach the bottom of the ocean where the sunlight from the surface was not visible suddenly someone started to pull her up. Everything happened like it wasn't happening in reality. Unknown to Kureha, her observation haki was alerting about the unreal situation. But no matter how good someone's observation haki is, there was no escape from the power of dream dream fruit unless the person has a very strong will along with conqueror's haki.
And Kureha, who has just recently awakened her observation haki was slowly getting overwhelmed by the effects of Demian's dream dream devil fruit. The border between her dream and reality was getting thiner with every passing second.
Suddenly Kureha found herself gasping for breath outside the water. Someone have rescued her. Seeing the blonde hair her first thought was about Roma saving her. But from the masculine touch she new that it was someone different. Blonde hair, blue eyes along with a very handsome face.
"Hey, are you okay ?" The young man asked him. It wasn't exactly a man but more like a boy around her age.
Kureha found herself falling in love with the man.

Demian disliked using his awakened devil fruit powers. It can make whatever happening in the dream of a person, real. And as Demian controls the dream, as long as a person is caught within a dream, he can even kill him in real life without lifting a finger. But it takes a lot of mental toll on Demian to use, sometimes making him faint. So it was genuinely very unsafe for him to use it. But that's just the beginning of the problems. Severe headaches were one of it's mild after effects. But the situation has forced him to use it.
At first he was worried about Maki's presence due to his earlier encounter with her.
But after she went away with Roxx, it became very easy for Demian to manipulate Kureha. He didn't want to take any chance. So he directly used his awakened powers on Kureha.
First he saved her from drowning and made her fell in love with her. After that he created a dream in which they became very intimate friends. Slowly their friendship turned into deep love as they shared their first time with each other. Demian made this dream very beautiful for Kureha. Even taking her virginity in her dream making it real. But then he decided to make her beautiful dream, a worst nightmare. When the rest of her companion learnt about him, they were against her relationship. So Maki and Roma beated him badly and even burning his face. Even her grandfather supported their action.
Kureha was heartbroken and was ready to leave her companions and her grandfather behind. Fortunately Demian was not ready to abandon her. So they decided to run away in the darkness of the night.
Everything happened in the dream became real as Kureha turned against her grandfather, Maki and Roma, but loved Demian deeply.
The dream lasted for an hour. But for Kureha, a month has passed.
The five elders's command was simple. Using his powers he would turn Kureha against her companions and then kidnap her if possible.
And without Maki present at the sight, it became child's play. Although Demian didn't like to emotionally manipulate Kureha neither he liked taking her virginity without actually fucking her. But for her sister, he was ready to do anything.
Demian came out of his hiding spot as she saw Kureha sneaking out of the ship. Without any delay, as soon as she saw him, he opened his arm and Kureha hugged him tightly.
In the darkness of the night, both of them disappeared.
Demian has used his powers to put Roma into sleep.
The happening of that silent night was the prelude to an incident that will be engraved into the history.
AN: This is an auxiliary chapter. I wanted to write a full chapter but I didn't want to mix it with the upcoming event. Now that Kureha is gone, what will Maki do, what will Roxx do ? There is a plot twist coming soon. And I don't want to mix it with this chapter.
The real action will start after my exams are completed. The rematch between five geezers and Maki. She will also gain her imortality during this time.
