After breakfast with Shakky and Koala—since Tiger, Jinbe, and Hatchan had left early to train with Rayleigh—William gave each of the women a goodbye kiss. He ruffled Koala's hair, making her pout, then scooped Sandersonia into his arms.
"Let's go, Sonia!" he said, spreading his dragon wings and taking off toward North Blue.

Upon arriving in North Blue, William wasn't in a rush to find Trafalgar Law. Instead, he treated Sandersonia to a date on a quaint island, walking hand-in-hand through bustling markets and enjoying a quiet dinner by the sea.
That evening, they had a passionate and beautiful night together.
The next morning, their search for Trafalgar Law began in earnest. After three days of following rumors and clues, they finally found him on a remote island with his crewmates—Bepo, Shachi, and Penguin.
William observed Law and his crew from a distance, noting their actions and demeanor. "They're not evil," he murmured to Sandersonia, "but I still want to test him."
Wearing a mask to conceal his identity, William waited for Law and his crew to leave town. When they did, he stepped into their path, standing calmly with his arms crossed while Sandersonia hid nearby.
Trafalgar Law stopped in his tracks, narrowing his eyes. "Who are you, and why are you blocking our way? What do you want?"
William's voice was calm but firm. "Trafalgar Law, you stole the Ope Ope no Mi—an ability the World Government desperately wants. You know why I'm here."
Law's eyes widened in panic. "Are you... CP0?" he muttered, gritting his teeth.
Turning to his crew, he barked, "Run, you guys! This has nothing to do with you!"
Bepo stood firm. "I'm not running, Captain. I'll fight by your side, even if it costs me my life. Sorry!"
Shachi and Penguin nodded. "We're staying too, Captain!"
Law clenched his fists. "You guys..."
But before he could finish, Bepo charged at William, aiming a powerful kick. William caught him effortlessly, holding him upside down. Bepo mumbled, "Sorry," making William laugh.
Law quickly activated his ability. "Room! Shambles!" Bepo disappeared from William's grip and reappeared beside Law, but the effort drained Law's already limited strength.
Seeing Shachi and Penguin preparing to attack, Law stopped them. "No! I'll fight him alone. If I lose, he'll take me alone. You three stay out of this!"
"Captain, no!" they protested in unison.
William sighed. "You guys are noisy." With a surge of Conqueror's Haki, he knocked out Shachi, Penguin, and Bepo, leaving only Law standing.
"Now," William said, his tone casual but commanding, "show me what you've got, kid."
Law trembled but steadied himself, realizing the immense strength of his opponent. "A World Government dog... with Conqueror's Haki?" he muttered.
Deciding to use everything he had, Law created a Room and slashed at William with all his strength. However, William calmly coated his hand in Haki, dissipating the attack effortlessly.
Law gasped, falling to his knees. "How...?"
William stepped forward, towering over him. "You have a good fruit, but you're too weak." With a single strike to the back of Law's neck, he knocked him out cold.
When Law woke up, he saw Bepo, Shachi, and Penguin sitting beside him on the beach, their faces filled with relief. Nearby, a blond man sat on a rock, holding a green-haired woman in his arms.
The man spoke. "Oh, kid, you're awake. Come here. Let's talk."
Law approached cautiously, his heart sinking when he recognized them. "You... You're the Tyrant Kael D. William. And you're the Serpent Queen, Boa Sandersonia. Why would someone as strong as you attack someone like me?"
Then, realization dawned on him. "I see. Even someone like you wants my fruit's ability. You're after the Eternal Youth Surgery, aren't you?"
Sandersonia tilted her head. "Eternal Youth? What's that?"
Law explained, "It's the ability to grant another person eternal youth, but it costs the user their life."
William's eyebrows rose. "Oh, so that's why the Ope Ope no Mi is worth five billion berries."
Law's voice trembled. "Wait... You didn't know about that? Then why—"
William laughed. "Relax, I don't care about that. I'm only seventeen. Plus, if I ever wanted eternal life, it wouldn't be a life without my family. A long life without them isn't a life worth living."
Law stared in disbelief. "Then why are you looking for me?"
"To recruit you, of course," William said, grinning. "Did you see my broadcast a few weeks ago?"
Law nodded.
"Then you know my goal: to take down the World Government. I need talented people like you to join me. Don't tell me you want to stay a pirate forever—burning and stealing. You've seen how terrible this world is. Join me, and let's change it together."
Law hesitated, deep in thought. Finally, he said, "I admire you and your crew for what you did that day on Sabaody. I'll join you... but there's a man I must kill. I hope you won't stop me when the time comes."
William leaned forward. "Can you tell me who he is?"
Trafalgar Law's eyes darkened. "He's Donquixote Doflamingo, one of the Seven Warlords."
William frowned. "Donquixote? Does he have anything to do with the Donquixote family in Mariejois?"
Law nodded. "Yes. He and his family were Celestial Dragons, but his father gave it up and took them down from Mariejois. Doflamingo hated him for it. After his mother died of illness, he killed his father."
William's expression turned cold. "I see. I don't know what grudge you hold against him, but I won't stop you. If you want, I can take you to him right now and kill him for you. Scum like that doesn't deserve to live."
Law clenched his fists. "No. I want to take my revenge with my own hands."
William smiled, impressed by the young man's resolve. "Alright, then. Let's head back to my kingdom."
Law hesitated for a moment before asking, "Sir, can I bring my crew with me?"
William chuckled. "You can drop the 'sir.' Just call me William. As for your friends, of course they can come—but you're no longer pirates."
Shachi and Penguin cheered, shouting, "Yes!"
Bepo's face lit up. "We can stay with the captain!" But then he noticed Sandersonia staring at him and lowered his head. "Sorry..."
Sandersonia laughed softly. "What a cute bear. You're a Mink, right? Because we already have the Polar Bear Zoan Fruit, so you must be from the Mink Tribe."
Bepo nodded. "Yes, I'm a Mink. Sorry..."
William raised an eyebrow. "Why do you keep apologizing? And how did you end up here in North Blue?"
Bepo scratched his head. "I got lost while searching for my brother. Sorry..."
William shook his head, amused. "You're something else. Alright, let's go home."
With that, William opened a swirling space portal to Valoria. Taking Sandersonia's hand, he stepped through.
Law turned to his crewmates. "Let's go."
The four of them followed William into the portal, stepping into a new chapter of their lives in Valoria.
