Chapitre 46: Chapter 46 : King has returned to sea

Lucifer and his crew stayed on Sky Island for ten days to allow Enel to recover from his injuries.

Once Enel regained his strength, they set sail and departed from Sky Island. The Nether descended from the sky, and the strong winds caused the pirate flag to flutter.

Enel stood at the bow of the ship, opened his hands, and arrogantly laughed as he looked out at the endless sea. He turned back to Lucifer and asked, "Hey, Captain, are there really as many monsters in the sea as you say?"

Lucifer took a sip of his wine and replied with confidence, "Ah, indeed there are countless monsters in the sea. At present, there are probably tens of thousands of people who could defeat you with just one hand."

Though the actual number was not so large, Lucifer wanted to remind Enel that there are powerful opponents lurking in the sea, so he shouldn't be too proud. Enel's arrogance was his biggest flaw. He believed that possessing the Thunder Fruit made him invincible.

Little did he know, in the Grand Line, Logia users often meet untimely ends. Some Logia users mistakenly believe that their elemental abilities grant them invulnerability, but in reality, advanced Armament Haki make their elementalization useless. "you should master the technique I taught you as soon as possible. Only by mastering it can you establish yourself in this sea," Lucifer advised Enel, knowing that Enel already possessed the Grandmaster Observation Haki' but lacked the Armament Haki. He believed that Enel's aptitude would allow him to learn and master it quickly.

Enel nodded in agreement, not daring to disobey Lucifer's orders. The Nether descended rapidly, and as it approached the sea, it's speed gradually slowed until it landed gently on the sea's surface, creating only a minor splash.

"Let's set sail and find some prey to play with," Lucifer commanded as he gave the order. It had been a while since he last killed someone, and his absence of killing had made him feel uneasy. Cavendish couldn't help but shiver upon hearing the order. It had been over half a month since he witnessed Lucifer's bloody actions, and he almost forgot that his captain was an extremely bloodthirsty monster.

"I wonder who will be unfortunate this time," Cavendish murmured, silently offering a moment of silence for some unknown pirate or Marine.

On the vast ocean, two pirate ships are burned with flames, realising thick smoke into the sky. Corpses mess up the decks of the ships, while dozens of defeated pirates knelt with gloomy expressions, chained and guarded by Marines soldiers .

next to the pirate ships was a Marine warship. A Marine Rear Admiral stood at the bow, an unextinguished cigar in his mouth. Blood was still dripping from his unsheathed sword.

"Rear Admiral Carl Vados, all members of the Hound Pirates have been arrested."

"We have confirmed that the captain and main members of the Hound Pirates are among the captured!"

A Marine officer approached from behind the Rear Admiral, reporting loudly, "Well done!"

The Marine Rear Admiral nodded with a solemn expression, saying, "These pirates are the scum of the sea. Every time we eliminate them, we can protect another innocent life. When I return, I will make sure you are credited properly."

"Everywhere you go, Rear Admiral Carl Vados, your leadership is respectable," the Marine officer praised, aware that the Rear Admiral had played the most significant role in arresting the Hound Pirates' captain.

Suddenly, the soldiers responsible for monitoring the sea area exclaimed, "Rear Admiral Carl Vados, a pirate ship has been detected approaching from the right side!"

"What arrogance! To come and find us willingly... they are too arrogant. Quickly determine which pirate group they belong to!" The Marine Rear Admiral grew furious and issued a swift command.

"I haven't seen their flag before. They seem to be a newly formed pirate group," the observer replied, swinging the binoculars left and right as they carefully examined the approaching ship, moving from the flag to the bow.

Suddenly, the observer's movements stopped, and their hands began to tremble. "Then... that person is... impossible! Why are they here?" Horror was evident on the observer's face as cold sweat formed on their forehead.

"What's the matter? Who is it?" Marine Rear Admiral noticed the abnormality and asked.

"It's Lucifer, the demon Lucifer! The one who's been wanted by headquarters is coming for us!" The observer screamed, eventually collapsing onto the deck. Shaking, their speech slurred with sheer terror.

"Lucifer?!!!" The Marine Rear Admiral's pupils widened as he quickly grabbed the binoculars to confirm. Indeed, he saw the young and handsome face of Lucifer—a face that would usually be appealing to wealthy women. But in the eyes of the Marine Rear Admiral, that was the face of a monster.

During recent times, Lucifer's name had become infamous within the Marines. Almost everyone knew of his heinous crimes.
