"Flying swords!"
Lucifer followed the fleeing pirates outside of town, and then a dozen flying swords descended from the sky. In an instant, a dozen pirates fell.
Boom!
Suddenly, a figure descended from the sky and swiftly landed in front of Lucifer's path.
He wielded a three-meter-long mace, he deflected some of Lucifer's flying swords with a powerful swing.
"Damn brat, how dare you slaughter so many of Laozi's subordinates!" he yelled.
"Prepare to meet your end, !" the man growled in anger.
Standing over three meters tall, his muscular physique covered in multiple scars, the man exuded a powerful and fearsome presence.
From his tone, it was clear that he was Snake, the notorious captain of the Lion Majesty Pirates.
"Flying swords!" Lucifer countered as he flicked his finger, sending a colossal flying sword hurtling through the air. It crashed with Snake's mace, sending him over ten meters away.
Snake slammed like a cannonball into a wall, causing it to crumble, and his mace was sent flying away from his grip.
Had Snake not used his mace as a shield, he would have been stabbed by the giant sword long ago.
"He actually blocked it!" Lucifer expressed surprise. This was the first pirate who managed to withstand his attack.
Even though Lucifer had only used a fraction of his true strength, this pirate was still considered "strong."
Boom!
Snake crawled out from the ruins, his arms bent and hanging limply; it was obvious they were cracked.
"Damn kid, I will not spare you!" Snake roared, his eyes blazing with the majesty of a lion. His body started to transform.
His neck elongated, his body expanded and became big, and two fangs came out from his mouth.
In the blink of an eye, Snake had transformed into a snake-man hybrid.
"Did I engage, Orochimaru?" Lucifer pondered, as he caught a glimpse of Orochimaru in Snake's new form.
Snake possessed the Snake Snake Fruit ability, which allowed him to accept the form of a snake-man.
Now exceeding twenty meters in length, his venom-dripping fangs are corroding the ground, Snake appeared to be invincible.
"He has unleashed his ability! The captain has transformed!"
"Snake Fruit: Black Snake Form!"
"No one can stand against the captain in this state. That kid is as good as dead!"
"Annihilate him, Captain Snake!"
"Captain Snake, you are the embodiment of strength!"
The surrounding pirate soldiers cheered upon witnessing Snake's transformation.
"Go to hell!" Snake declared loudly, raising his colossal snake body and lunging to bite Lucifer.
Snake's sharp fangs are his deadliest weapons.
Given the highly poisonous nature of the snake fruit ability that the Snake possessed.
Unfazed by the huge snake before him, instead of dodging or evading, Lucifer simply raised his hand slightly.
"Sharp Storm!" Lucifer proclaimed.
As his command resounded, the space behind him split open, unleashing a barrage of countless flying swords and long knives.
Each weapon possessed an exceptional sharpness, glistening ominously in the light.
Puff! Puff! Puff! Puff!
Blood poured out and spilled as groups of weapons stabbed Snake's enormous body and he crumbled, drenching the ground in a sea of blood.
Dozens of blades get into the giant snake's mouth, while his massive form resembles a spiky hedgehog, pierced from every angle.
In front of Lucifer, Snake's increased size only served to make him an easier target, unable to defend against the relentless attack.
Snake had naively presented his greatest weakness to Lucifer, practically inviting his own demise.
{ Ding! The Host has killed Snake, acquiring 3500 kill points} the electronic system rang within Lucifer's mind.
"Kill points? What are those?" Lucifer asked, puzzled.
{ The host gains kill points after eliminating challenging targets.
These kill points can be used to obtain items and abilities from the system's shop }.
"Ah, I see," Lucifer replied, finally comprehending. He then asked, "Why didn't I acquire kill points for the people I killed earlier?"

Lucifer nodded, realizing that the system only acknowledged targets of a certain strength.
Those with insufficient power were deemed unworthy by the system.
The people Lucifer had slain before were mere low-ranking soldiers of the Black Snake Pirates, which explained the absence of kill points.
As the captain and possessing a certain level of strength, Snake qualified to earn kill points.
"So, this system urges me to hunt the strong," Lucifer concluded, recognizing the system's underlying purpose.
The system's goal was apparent—it wanted Lucifer to seek out and eliminate progressively stronger targets.
Only by doing so could he accumulate a substantial number of kill points and access the system's marketplace to acquire items and abilities.
Returning to reality, the pirates who had been watching the battle witnessed their captain being killed in a matter of seconds, their legs trembling with fear.
They desperately shouted Snake's name, hoping he would rise again.
"Captain!"
"Captain Snake!"
"Captain, please get up! You are the man destined to become the Pirate King! Rise and confront this brat!"
"This can't be happening! How could the captain lose?"
Sadly, Snake had already died.
"I admire your loyalty to your captain, but now, let us meet our end together!" Lucifer coldly gestured, and a storm of sharp blades appeared above him.
Puff! Puff! Puff! Puff!
Blood gushed forth as another twenty or thirty pirates met an untimely demise in the blink of an eye.
"What?! No!"
"Have mercy!"
"Please spare our lives!"
"I am willing to become your subordinate!"
The remaining pirates scrambled, some begging for mercy, while others tried to fight Lucifer.
Yet, Lucifer showed no mercy; he eliminated them all.
When this very same group of pirates were killing people in the town earlier, the residents had pleaded and begged in the same manner. Yet, no mercy was shown, and the pirates only grew more vigorous in their brutality.
The louder the residents cried out for mercy, the more intoxicated the pirates became.
For such despicable scum, Lucifer would not hold back, even if he did not acquire kill points for their demise.
Eradicating them all, leaving no one behind, was the only way to restore justice!
