Min Jun straightened his tie before opening the door to Qaid and Associates. As before, the receptionist's desk was empty. The dust looked undisturbed. He considered writing his name in it just to see if anything changed before his next visit. He wondered if this was the normal state of things or if the company just happened to be between receptionists and cleaning staff at the same time. No, this was a sign of the financial health of the company. This worked to MJ's advantage.

He felt awkward standing around his own company, so he made himself at home. He went into Russ's office and sat down at the desk. Rifling through the desk drawers, he found nothing more interesting than a stack of lottery tickets and a man-on-man porn magazine from the eighties. He heard someone clearing his throat from the direction of the door.

Min Jun looked up from the magazine, thinking the man on the cover resembled a younger version of Eric. "Can I help you?"
