Chapitre 1: Creation
In the beginning it all began with Rangi and Papa. Father Sky and Mother Earth had four children. Tane was the first as the eldest Spirit he ruled over the others, and is the spirit of creation, sunlight, fresh water, and forests. He was the male ancestor of all forms of life, including people.
Next came Tangaroa of the Moana ( ocean ), followed by Tu , who is the patron of all of the works and skills of men, and Rongo the Spirit of agriculture and the healing arts. These four personified the male aspects of creation and creativity, and the sources of Mana the spiritual energy that created all When they arrived in Hawaii before the making of humans, the sky flashed with lightning, the air shook with thunder, and great whirlwinds churned in the sky. "You humans really are stupid. The world is falling apart around you all and the only thing to stop it is you!" she pointed at me as she spoke
