Chapitre 22: Chapter 21: Chi path

Chi blocking was first used by an ancient king named Hundun, who was an enemy of the avatar, for killing his brother.

For centuries Hundun planned to take revenge on the avatar, so he studied the Chi path and learned how to block them, and Chi blocking was born with that.

Since then this art spread, the air nomads like avatar Yangchen knew how to block Chi successfully.

One of these nomads, Rioshon, traveled to the Fire Nation, and taught the Chi block to Princess Zeisan, and he fell in love with her.

After the extinction of the Air Nomads, there are only a few people in the Fire Nation who know this art of blocking energy.

And of course, these people were descended from relatives of Princess Zeisan whom she taught, but currently only three people used it.

One of them was a young girl from the Fire Nation. Sokka might be the next to master it, but then again, he had just started studying Chi.

"Well, to the north there's only an air nomad palace and the north pole." Sokka looked at the map, "I'm even closer than before."

Sokka had left the bar, he saw some desert nomads in the distance, who had a strange vehicle, "Hey, where are you going?"

One of them turned to look at him after hearing that, but didn't even answer. Sokka smiled, "Are you at least going to take me with you or not even that?"

The same one from before nodded slightly. Sokka then climbed into the back and leaned back, "It'll be long."

He just needed to cross the desert. He had thought of a way to travel, or well, he had two, one of them was a hot air balloon.

And the other was a little more risky than the balloon, but certainly faster, although well maybe it couldn't be something as suitable.

"Well, I'll decide tomorrow."

When Sokka got up, he saw that the vehicle was stopped. He cleared his eyes and got out, quickly noticing that this was grass.

"I guess I got out of the desert, but where am I?" the boy wondered curiously.

He saw that in the distance there was an ocean, maybe it was on the northern coast or not, "And these tents?" Sokka asked as he walked.

Sokka noticed some people around, they were dressed in a peculiar way.

"Careful!" a female voice alerted him but it was too late, the two inevitably collided.

"Ouch! Sorry, are you okay?" Sokka asked holding out his hand to the girl, who got up from a backflip, "Wow... that was wow."

"Relax, I'm fine!" the girl commented with a big smile, "Have you never seen an acrobat?"

"I guess not... well, I'm Sokka"

"Ty Lee!" the girl extended her hand in greeting, "Hmmmm, you don't seem to be from around here"

"I'm not from around here" Sokka replied, "And do you happen to know what place this is?"

"A Fire Nation colony in the Earth realm" the boy was alerted by Ty Lee's response, who noticed him, "Did you get lost or something?"

"No, don't worry" Sokka started to think, "Wait, you said you're an acrobat, is this a circus?"

"Bingo!" Ty Lee winked at him with a smile, "We have a performance tonight, do you want to come see me? You won't pay anything!"

"I'd like to but I have a long trip ahead of me" Sokka sighed, massaging his left temple.

"Ah, well," Ty Lee sounded a little dissapointed and Sokka noticed this easily and felt bad, he didn't want to make this girl feel bad.

"Although seeing as it's getting dark, I can travel in the morning. So I'll go see you," the boy added, putting his hands on his waist.

"That's great, my performance will be in about two hours!" Ty Lee almost jumped for joy upon hearing that, "I hope to see you there, see you later Sokka!"

"See you later," Sokka scratched his head. He needed to rest anyway and maybe clear his mind of so many things he thought about every day.

He was locked up in a library for days and needed contact with the outside world, what better way to go to the circus for a while to have fun?"
