Mr. Thief's POV
A Thief... It kinda has a negative note to it but to me, it's my profession, and my dream, is to be the greatest thief of all times.
It's not like life forced me into it, or for any other dubious reasons, it's just because I want to.
But unlike other thieves, I ain't got no business with low quality stuff, what I value is the high quality ones. I'm a thief with standards!
'Painting of the Ancient Chancellor'
'The Necklace of the Queen Mother'
'Chalice of Imperial Authority'
'The Sea King's Ocean Tears'
'A Branch of the World Tree'
And many other valuables, I have already gotten. There's no other treasure that can move me, leaving me quite empty. After many years of roaming around to discover something that can arouse my dying passion, I have heard of something absurd from a wandering bard...
"There was once a legend of the greatest thief of all times, he was so great that he basically controlled the world's wealth but there is something that he failed to get"
"Ohhh! What is it?"
The story piqued my interest, the thief in the story is somewhat similar to me in a way.
"It was the heart of a God, the thief fell in love with a God in the Upper World but he was rejected ruthlessly. He offered all his wealth in exchange for his love but was disdained for it. It was said that the thief fell into so much grief that he ended his own life and his endless pile of wealth was thrown into the ocean because he believes that it was all useless."
'Stupid thief' he thought
But... If it turns out to be true... How valuable is it to outweigh the piles of the world's wealth?
A God's Heart, I must get it!
Hope you like it!
