Chapitre 25: Chapter 24: Preparation
"Everyone knows that there will be an upcoming Autumn Festival right?". The Band Teacher walked around the class. "So, today we'll pick out a song to prepare and perform it for me next week".
"I will choose out the 5 most amazing solos to perform in the fall concert during the Autumn Festival". The Band Teacher continued explaining. "And the rest of us will be learning the religious song of Carpo, she's the Goddess of Autumn".
"Ooh damn, this sounds interesting". Maria whispered to Kayden. "What song are you thinking about?".
"Currently, I don't know yet". Kayden shrugged. "What about you?".
"I'm thinking of a UNITE song, you know". Anytime Maria talks about UNITE, her eyes will always be brighter than usual.
"Oh, about the Autumn Festival, Dr. Burggraf said that 2 days before the Autumn Festival, we'll have a test over strategy". Kayden announced.
"What is it about?". Maria asked.
"Everyone has to work with each other like a team to complete a quest". Kayden pulled out his MPhone to show Maria. "Something like this, it's not complicated right?".
"Herbal Land". Maria read it loudly. "Target: Collecting 1 Rainbow Bloom, 1 Bottle of Elf's Dust, and Defeating a Hive of Monsters".
"Yeah, I think it may be too easy for a Prestige class". Maria nodded her head.
"The thing is Dr. Burggraf also said that Adelphia won't go with us, because she'll be busy preparing for the Autumn Festival with everyone else". Kayden looked at Maria seriously. "Which means that we'll have to take down the Hive and identify plants by ourselves".
"I can't even see the difference of Weed and Grass". Maria uttered.
"Exactly, me too girl". Kayden was about to cry. "We're gonna fail the first quarter test".
"Welp, it's fate". Kayden not worriedly said. "Or we should help Adelphia prepare for the festival, then she would have more time to do the test with us, and we won't fail!!".
"Oh my god, it's such a good idea". Maria shouted in joy. "You're a genius".
"Shhhhh". The Band Teacher tried to hush Maria. "Everyone is busy finding their song, you should be quiet".
"Yes sir". Maria and Kayden had spoken in unison. "We'll be quiet".

The next day ….
Morning in the Student Council Office at the Oglourine Academy.
"Adelphia ah-ah-ah-ah-ah". Maria was looking for her friend. "Where are you????".
Someone opened the door behind the office counter: "Good morning, who is it?".
"Hi Ophelia, I need to talk to Adelphia about something serious". Maria's face suddenly became so cold. She really did scare Ophelia.
"Oh oh okay, wait here a few minutes". Ophelia was thinking about the Boxing situation.
"Oh my gosh, is it about suing our Academy and the Student Council for being irresponsible just like what Adel said????". Ophelia thought alarmingly. "Oh dear, I need to tell Adelphia". Ophelia quickly shut the door and went straight to the President Office of the Student Council area.
"Adelphia! Adelphia! Adelphia! ADELPHIA!!!". Ophelia ran and yelled urgently. "We have an important case, it's about the Lenormand family!!".
"What did you say?!!". Adelphia immediately opened her room's door after hearing 'the Lenormand family'.
"Maria is here, THIS EARLY". Ophelia was breathing hard because of running too fast. "She said that she wants to talk about something serious".
"Okay, calm down, we'll be just fine". Adelphia went straight out of her room to the office counter without hesitation.
"Hello Maria, why are you here so early?". Adelphia smiled.
"Oh you know, I was just wondering if I could help you with the Autumn Festival?". Maria was whirling her hair sillily.
"Phew, thanks gosh" - Adelphia thought.
"Oh sure, great, I'm glad!". Adelphia sincerely said. "So you want to help me with the money or the effort?".
"Both". Maria spoke determinedly. "With the power of the Lenormand family, I can get you workers and maids, and also pay the money".
"Oh are you sure? This sounds a lot to deal with". Adelphia didn't expect a mean selfish girl like Maria would be this nice.
"Yes, you have my words". Maria smiled one last time and walked out. "See ya".
"Okay bye bye". Adelphia waved her hand.
"You can come out now". Adelphia turned her head to the door behind. "Did you hear our conversation?".
"Yes, it was kind of a shock to me". Ophelia replied. "Well, at least you have more time to rest now".
"You mean study? Yeah, I do". Adelphia rolled her eyes. "The first quarter test, I hate being a good student".

During lunch time at the Oglourine Academy.
Phoebe is sitting at her table fixing and crafting something focusedly. Kayden silently walks to her.
"Hello Phoebe, are you preparing for the Autumn Festival too?". Kayden tapped Phoebe's shoulders.
"Yes, I'm currently making a hologram system for my Oglourine Tech System Club". Phoebe took off her goggles. "Are you doing anything?".
"Oh yeah, I'm preparing a solo performance for my Band Teacher". Kayden passionately talked. "The 5 most excellent performances can present their talents on the stage during the Autumn Festival Concert".
"Awesome, I think you would get picked anyway". Phoebe took off her gloves. "Everyone knows your ability".
"Oh you're right, but I still expect others to defeat me". Kayden laughed kiddingly. "I really want a competition, you know".
"Don't worry, me too". Phoebe stood up and stretched herself. "Sometimes, being the best is lonely".
"By the way, Esserine will celebrate a fashion show on the Autumn Festival Day". Phoebe handed the poster to Kayden. "She said that her show would be the brightest of all!!!".
"Ooh, I can't wait to watch it". Kayden was inspecting the poster.
"However, the main thing is". Phoebe hesitated for a second. "There would be some Margareta Academy's students visiting the festival, I hope things will be just fine".
"If they want to fight, then I'm willing to protect everyone". As a celestial being, Kayden will definitely stand up for the weak ones.
"I heard that the strongest team of the Margareta Academy would come". Phoebe whispered the rumour to Kayden. "All 3 of them both can transform".
"All 3?!". Kayden was too stunned to speak. "A transformed one already has a huge range of stats from the normal one".
"Even if you join the battle, you wouldn't make any difference". Phoebe explained carefully. "Margareta students are brutal and heartless".
Kayden just knows that the Oglourine Academy will have no chance to be against the Margareta Academy. There are only 3 people who can transform in this place. They are Ophelia, the Secretary of Student Council, Rika, the one that cannot control her mystic power, and another girl that he doesn't know the identity of yet.
