Chapitre 4: PLOT: Zombie apocolypse

The world is in zombie apocolypse, and Mc has already lived through all of it once. And they transmigrate to the beginning of the apocolypse or before, depending on your preference.

Their ability is to control the zombies, but once they found out, they became scared of themself. With ideas like:

'Am I a zombie, too?

Did I cause the zombie apocolypse?

Am I making the zombies do this to us?

What will everyone do if they found out? Would they kill me because of what I can do?'

And so on.

Eventually, they decided on hiding it as if they didn't receive an ability. But because of their choices, they were discriminated against because the people with no ability were extremely rare and deemed as 'useless' and 'unworthy'. And there is a stereotype about them as if they would suck up to everyone powerful and schemed 24/7 and just unpleasant to everyone around them.

So, Mc always faced physical and emotional abuse from the people around them, including their family and friends; everyone hated them.

Later on, the world progresses on, and there are 'cities' with large walls surrounding them. Where outside the 'cities' is where the zombies are scurrying around.

Because of the torturous abuse from everyone, the Mc is turning psychotic but hides it well. In fear of losing control and the people around them hunting them down. Psychotic in a way that if someone was being brutally murdered infront of them they wouldn't call the police nor run, they would watch them as they beg for Mc to help them realising that Mc only wants to observe their suffering, not help. Uncaring about the life or death of the people around them. But they haven't completely became this person, their holding on by a string to take hold of their sanity.

Due to Mc's mysterious bad luck, they were chosen next to go on a hunt for zombies and their cores.

The cores of zombies are something you eat to gain your ability to enhance it. It's in the middle of their brain that you would have to pick out to posess. The higher danger/skill of the zombie is the more powerful the core is. Also, they taste absolutely horrible, so the more you eat, the more you want to rip out your own stomach. So disgusting that people hesitate to even have a 2nd one.

Because of the facade the Mc is playing on how they have no ability nor can gain one by eating a core. They have been forcefully fed cores, eventually making their ability so powerful that the entire species of humans and zombies combined couldn't put a scratch on them. But they don't realise it because they're always playing weak.

The amount of cores is so excessive that they receive a 2nd ability because their first ability had already reached it's limit so they had to put the excessive energy somewhere else creating another one, the ability to go back into time. But they can only go back in time to their past body, so, only throughout the time they've been alive.

(By the way, once you receive an ability, you already subconsciously know what it is and how to use it)

And new ability can only let them go back in time once, and they can not go back to the past timeline they were previously in (the present). They also can only use it once, and a side effect is the way to use it is that you have to be only a second from death.

So the Mc goes on the hunt because it was made a law that at least once every year you have to go on a hunt, if not, you would get kicked out of the city, left to die.

So obviously, they had to go, but unfortunately for Mc. Their teammates were extremely snobby and complete believers in the idea that people with weak/no abilities are utterly useless and should be fed to the zombies. So the team treats Mc like a beggar and uses them like some kind of porter because all they can do is carry the luggage, taking of the load of the other 'useful' teammates.

In the hunt, one of the extremely powerful zombies comes along, which their team can't handle. And in the midst of the escape, one of the teammates grabs the bags from the Mc and right when they're about to ask why they've done so. The person who took the bags pushes Mc right at the incoming zombies and is slowly devoured by that zombie.

The Mc can't defend themself with their actual ability because it was just so sudden, and it only sprung on them that they had been betrayed when they're about take their final breath, their 2nd ability activates and they go back in time.

(Any time period of their life, you prefer)

They wake up to the time period their in and realise that their other ability had taken effect.

But now, because of that extreme betrayal, the small string tying their sanity together finally snaps entirely.

And now, unlike the regular Mcs, who has the intention of rebuilding the human race and saving everyone. Our Mc has no intention of doing so. If anything, they would prefer to let the entire world die, and for all the zombies, serve Mc as if they were royalty. Without the emotions and cruelty of humanity, just their own little world of the zombies serving them and themself.

And what's better(?) thy know that without them eventually, the human race would just die out.

Back in their past life, they were controlling the zombies surrounding the city they were living in. Which resulted in that city being the most populated and most desired to live in. And all in all, just most successful. But only because they were helping did that happen.

So they knew that without a leash on the zombies. The zombies will devour everyone despite humans' evolving.

So, the entire plot of the story could be how Mc literally makes their own city with zombies as guards. And literally, everyone is trying to convince them to save humanity. In a comedic kind of way,

And if you would like, an equally as psychotic Rl could take their place in the story too.

And I think you can progress from here.
