Chapitre 21: The Soul

I rested my hand on the armrest and looked out of the window. Each second passed like minutes. As those minutes passed, I felt like the only person alive in this world. My head was full of questions. I didn't know where to begin. 

We left the old mansion as soon I felt better. Kaeden insisted that I take proper rest back in the mansion. Though I was feeling well. 

"Flora? Are you feeling alright?" asked Kaeden as his face grew closer to mine. 

"Ah…I was having random thoughts. To be honest with you. I've been a bit bothered by what Katrina told me."

"Don't be so bothered by it," said Kaeden, holding my hand as he tried assuring me. I gave him a smile. I liked the feeling of someone assuring me. It keeps me safe. "What matters is that I've found you."
