"Here, try this suit on" Erica gave me another set of clothes and went back to picking more
"You know we ain't gonna buy all these clothes you're picking out" I told her
"I know, we just need to get the best ones, now shoo" she shoved me back into the dressing room
I wore a red female tuxedo and white canvas, ran my hands through my hair and came out
"How do I look" I said and Erica turned
"Woah, we buying this for sure, it looks good with your ginger hair"
"Thanks for compliment"
"Here, go change into this"
"You really into your dress up game"
She scoffed and replied "Yes I am" I shook my head and went back into the dressing room.
"You gonna definitely make people drip" Erica said eyeing me up with a satisfied smile. I wore a black body hugged mid thigh gown which showed off my curvy shape perfectly and a high knee flat mouthed hills. Not pointy, heel length not too high and very comfortable to walk in.
"I ain't going on a blind date with a rich nigga you know, I mean the dress is really good, but I don't need to dress too fancy for an assistant, what do you think the public will say" I tried to explain some sense into her so she could quit picking more outfits
"That's none of their businesses okay, who knows you might be going on a blind date with him, just using assistant and boss as disguise" she said and smiled sheepishly.
You see Erica has been spending a lot of time after our college graduation watching Korean romantic dramas, how the CEO ends up with the assistant or how the CEO falls for a girl from a poor family but his family doesn't want him to get married to her because of her background and he has to choose between his love and work. Which we all know what he chooses. Or some contracted marriage and as times goes by they both fall in love.
So she's been technically brainwashed by those dramas and now thinks that, that is how the world works. Even if it does in some places I don't think it will in my case.
I mean yeah CEO Teashan is handsome and all but we come from two really different worlds.
And besides he won't take much fancy of me, I mean I ain't his class, he also has different women trailing him he might be young but he's well known
Like I am lucky to be his assistant, I wasn't expecting it to be a success but I just gave it a shot.
"Ella"
Maybe my late parents also helped me, they've always done everything to protect me and made sure I was happy.
"Hey Ella"
I mean even after their deaths I didn't lack money for food or school, just like it was all planned out.
"Earth to Ella" Erica shouted, snapping me out from my ray of thoughts
"What are you thinking about, oh oh don't tell me you're thinking about your boss already" she said and I rolled my eyes at her
Childish
"Are you done, if you are let's get going I am starving" I said walking ahead of her
I didn't answer her, which will make her feel she's right and won't let me rest
"So you are, is he that charming that you fell quickly, is this what they call love at first sight" she said as she giggled
The fuck you giggling about
"For heaven's sake Erica I haven't fallen for my boss okay, you are really pissing me off"
"Geez I'm sorry okay, let's go home I'll prepare lunch"
"No, go straight to the Japanese restaurant I want to eat ramen" I told her
"Okie-dokie"
