Chapitre 83: Coming Clean (2)

An uneasy feeling took over Imani as she carefully chose her next words. A last minute thought of not telling him the things she was keeping from him came to mind but she quickly dismissed it because she and him were getting... close, and it would crush her if he found the truth out someway or from someone else.

All the blood drained from her face as she pictured his possible reactions to what she would tell him and in all of them, he was angry. She was also scared that he wouldn't believe her when she says she didn't create it accidentally. She took a couple of steps forward, clasping her hands when they began to shake while her lower lip trembled.

His eyes glinted when they locked onto hers as he walked toward her, stopping inches from her. "Yes, Imani." It was almost... erotic. The way he said her name. The way his mouth formed the syllables. "What do you have to tell me?"
