Chapitre 27: Bizarre Evening

Sire held the glass close to her mouth. The wine almost passing through when the crazy look in the man's eyes stopped her half way. The way he stared down at her. As if he waited for her to gulp down just one sip of the alluring wine.

 "Is anything the problem?." He asked in an unusual impatient voice when Sire wasn't taking the wine. She withdrew her hand. Bringing the glass of wine away from her lips she gave the man a very much polite smile and said, "I'm afraid I do not take wine from strangers." She turned and placed the glass on a trail of a servant passing by. Sire smiled once more at the man then held her dress up. She made to walk away when the man's eyes on her stopped her from moving forward. She cleared her throat and tried once more but to no avail. It was almost as if she was held under someone's control. This man's control.
