-6 years later-
"Good morning, madam," A man wearing a mask greeted Mira as she stepped out of a luxury car.
"Hmm," Mira replied. In the past 6 years, Mira had gotten used to being treated like this, as Kuroda's real daughter. She was like a princess who had several highly trained bodyguards with her all the time.
She was now studying in a college where no one knew her past. No one knew about the things that happened to her because and, she was uncomfortable with people knowing about it. At a young age, she knew that after listening to her story, what would people talk about her and most importantly, what would people say about Tom?
A few years ago, when Daniel went to jail and Kuroda adopted her, she was told that Tom went to another country for studying as Daniel asked for it as a favour to him.
'Of course, it's a lie…I know my bro is close to me always,' Mira said in her mind as she walked into her college.
While she was going inside the main building, red rose petals rained on her as a boy suddenly rushed and knelt in front of her while holding a bouquet.
"Will you date me now, Mira my love?" The boy asked.
"Umm, for the 17th time, no," Mira said as she hurriedly walked away.
"Did he propose to you again?" Rosie, Mira's only friend asked her while meeting up with her on the way to class.
"Yeah…it's getting annoying now. How are you by the way?" Mira asked while carrying her books in her hand and walking.
"Oh me? I'm fine…" The two talked on their way to the class.

The masked bodyguard and James stood outside Mira's college, smoking a cigarette each.
"Doesn't it feel suffocating now?" James asked Tom standing right beside him.
"It does. She's always worried about me and I can never meet her but, this is for her. If I show my face, you also know that the government will come for us. Moreover, since Kuroda is dead and I don't have big connections like him yet, no one can protect us at the moment." The masked man said as he threw the cigarette butt away and pulled his mask down to cover his mouth again.
"Hah…Alright, I wish you the best in getting those connections." James said as he continued standing there and took out his phone.
He looked at the time. It was half past nine.
"Anytime now," James said as he stared at his phone for a minute and soon, his phone rang.
"Hey, how are they today?" The man on the other side of the phone asked.
"At least ask about me. Anyways, your bro is still using a mask and your sis has gone to college. How are you, Daniel?" James asked.
"Had another fight today. Beat 6 guys from the Black Bear gang. I'm fine though…How are– Ah, it's my time to go. Bye. Take care of my lovelies." Daniel said as he put the phone down.
James laughed as he put his phone back in his pocket and looked at Tom wearing his mask. Tom was looking at the college with his hands in front.
Daniel was now sitting in jail and had to sit there for 6 more years. His original sentence was for 29 years but, when everything was revealed in an investigation, his sentence was reduced.
Tom, on the other hand, trained in every martial art for the past 6 years and perfected them. It was not long before Kuroda took Tom as a student.
With time, Tom's reputation overshadowed Kuroda's when he swept through the country absolutely alone too.

-A few hours later, Rosie's home-
"You're home, honey? Come on, let's pray for your deceased brother once. He was so kind and caring..." Rosie's mother said as she joined both her hands, closed her eyes and sat at the dining table.
"Alright, I pray that your soul rests in peace, lovely brother," Rosie said as she looked at her brother's photo on one side of the table.
"Hey, say his name too." Rosie's mother said.
"Rest in peace...Ryu." Rosie said as she looked at Ryu's smiling photo lying in front of the empty dining table seat

A/N: This backstory is going to last for a while btw. 7-8 more chaps. After all, we need a proper reason for why was Tom a monster in Yukan's memory. Last, this chap was written on phone so…yeah it's damn short.
