Chapitre 6: Ch.6 Give You Two Choices
Shin smiled and said;" I have already mastered the Jutsu, Uncle Tsuki. You don't have to worry so much."
"Three days to master an A-rank Jutsu?" Tsuki was stunned but patted Shin's shoulder with a smile; " You are a good boy indeed, still wanting to joke around in time like this."
" But it's fine, it makes the atmosphere a little less tense. Just thirty minutes ago, we got the report from the hidden spy that the Kumo Ninja's main force is five kilometers away from here. We await your orders, Shin."
"What do you mean thirty minutes ago? My order for the hidden spy is to report every fifteen minutes." Shin spoke with a frown in response to the news he received from Tsuki.
The senior member of the team flinches hearing Shin's words. Because they were reorganizing their troops and the oppressive atmosphere of death, they had completely neglected this matter.
" Leader Shin, Senior Tsuki. It is bad news, the two Root Ninjas are gone!" a genin ninja rush towards the two. As soon as this word came out, everyone's nerves suddenly tightened.
Shin quickly flares his senses to the surrounding of the cave and shouts; " We have been betrayed. Everybody moves into the cave immediately. Now!"
Everyone was stunned at Shin's outburst but rooted when they heard an ominous voice.
"Haha, I was hoping Konoha would send a better force when we blatantly spread the news of our attack but this is a disappointment." A hearty laugh echoed.
Hundreds of Shadows and flickers emerge from the surrounding area of the cave and two figures stand a distance away on a small hill. It was the Kumo ninjas and the two figures were A and B combo that is feared by many.
"We are boxed in. This is bad, really bad." Inu Feng spoke with a pale face.
"Damn those Roots! They must have killed the hidden spy and leaked our location to the enemy."
" If only we were more careful and not lax in our duty, we might not be surrounded by the enemy right now!"
"What are we gonna do now? There are hundreds of them! With A and B Combo leading, Konoha's fall is inevitable."
As chaos started to pull the group apart, the senior member of the group tried to calm them knowing things will only escalate if it continues.
"Shin, what is your order?" Tsuya asks Shin with a mixture of emotions in his eyes. But when he turned to look at Shin, he was startled. The serenity on Shin's face seems to have not taken all this to heart.
Is he scared?
"Ha ha, your anguish makes me happy!" Ai laughed unscrupulously and said, "I want to know what you plan to do next. Will you surrender obediently or let me kill you with my own hands?"
"Kill them, kill them"
Hundreds of Kumo ninjas shouted in unison, making the nerves of Konoha's ninjas tense to the extreme, and the panic on their faces couldn't be concealed.
"Shin!" Shizune's face was also pale, and she couldn't help but look at Shin.
"Don't worry, nothing will happen," Shin said rubbing Shizune's head and spoke while making his way to the front of the cave." Uncle Tatsuki, please bring the others into the cave and deploy all barrier arrays available at the entrance of the cave as much as possible. Leave the rest to me."
Shin was expecting this to happen. According to canon lore, Root is an organization that will do anything to achieve its goal. Since Shin has stolen the leadership from the two Roots ninjas thus depriving them of any form of power to make things go the way that was ordered of them by Donzo. This leads them to abandon them and reveal their important strategic position to the enemy.
If any of them were to return alive, it will cause negatively to their organization. Therefore, the only way is to make the first move and kill with a borrowed knife.
However, this is also what Shin wants. The next time they meet, he will be able to kill Root without any scruples.
" Are you crazy? Do you want to face them alone?! And make us watch you die!" Tsuki shouted. He didn't expect Shin to give such an order. But he knows that he can't go against it.
" Shin, don't do this. You can't fight them alone. There is always another solution, we just need to stick together and fight them." Shizune hurriedly persuaded.
" Yes, what Shizune said is right. It doesn't matter if we are against hundreds of Kumo ninjas and The A and B combo. If it's death that follows, we are Konoha Ninjas we will face it together." Inu Feng spoke up in support of Shizune and Tsuki.
To them and the other team members, Shin was blaming himself for forcing them to stay and fight a losing battle despite their willingness to do so and obey his every order. But, this time he ordered them to retreat and hide while he faced the enemy. That was why he felt guilty.
" Die?" Shin smiled and shook his head, "Don't worry, I won't go down that easily. Just retreat and place up the barrier and stay behind it. I don't want any of you dying from what I'm going to do next. Moreover, am I not the leader you have selected this is an order. So go now!"
Shin's voice was not loud but was full of confidence. The Konoha ninja and Kumo ninja heard him and were startled by his overbearing presence.
" Senior Tsuki, what are we gonna do?" Shizune asks with anxiety.
Tsuki's expression changes repeatedly from one thought to the next, glancing to see Shin's indifferent expression. He clenched his fist and said, " Everyone retreats to the cave and places the barrier as ordered. Remember leader Shin is stronger than any of us combined but be prepared to assist when there ought to be!"
As soon as this statement came out, the Konoha ninja followed as ordered of them. Although they were nervous, they secretly vowed in their hearts that if there is an accident, they will take action immediately.
Looking at the orderly retreat of Konoha's ninjas, one of the Kumo Ninjas couldn't help but ask, "Ai Sama, should we stop them? If we enter the barrier, I am afraid it will be disadvantageous for us."
"Humph! What's so bad about it? It's just a bunch of miscellaneous troops, what's there to pay attention to? I thought that the Uchiha Clan sent out Shisui, but I didn't expect it to be just an unknown waste!" Ai snorted disdainfully, "According to the report, this idiot is just a Gennin!"
Hearing this, the Kumo ninja's smile widens. " Ai sama is right, this fool is already dead, to begin with. As long as we break through this position, The Land of Fire will be The Land of Lightning!" The Kumo Ninjas in the field were all happy.
Konoha opened three major battlefields at the same time, and knowing Konoha couldn't take it for a long time. Now that they can become the straw that broke the camel's back, how can they not be happy?
" Are you done?" Shin spoke breaking them off their musing. " Now I will give you two choices; leave now and never return to this land or die a worthless death by my hand!"
(A/N: Hello guyzzz. I am not satisfied with this chapter and had it done multiple times but the end with this half-baked chapter. Due to this, weekly releases are not enough time. So I will take a long time between releases and as an apology for making you wait, it will be a mass release. The longer the wait, the more chapters will be published.
