Chapitre 1: Prologo

Things were different, Haku knew that… she saw the boy named Naruto long before the battle in which all of the boy's companions would die… To the boy's companions he was an imperative and useless boy, but to her, that single interaction with him made her understand… he was like her before she met Zabuza-sama, empty and without anything, the boy was like her searching for a reason to live, she too was searching for a reason to live and survive before she met Zabuza-sama… The boy was just like her… He was empty, searching for a reason to live… she had to kill him after she had finished off the Uchiha and the pink haired girl… she killed the Uchiha… then the bridge builder and then she had to kill him… But the look in the boy's eyes kept her from killing him… She knew the feeling the boy was experiencing… it hit her emotionally and she couldn't kill him… so she knocked him out and helped Zabuza-sama finish off Kakashi Hatake, which was simple since she couldn't deal with my Ice Age. Kekei Genkai known as Hyoton, is a Kekkei Genkai unique to my clan, the Yuki clan, after that I told Zabuza-sama about the boy's situation and in the end he decided not to kill him… which made me happy… I still remember Zabuza-sama's statement when I asked him why he allowed me to let the boy live… he just told me that this is the first time you've asked me for something so I decided to give you that privilege, what he said is true… I had never asked him for anything… I sighed deeply as I looked at the boy lying in one of the rooms in Gato's base… Gato tried to betray us… he didn't give us payment for the job he asked us to do but when he saw that the job was done, he paid us… He allowed us to stay here for two days and then leave… for my safety, Gato thinks I'm a man to prevent him from trying anything dirty against me… like poisoning me to prevent me from moving and sexually abusing me… that's why he always does these jobs, I pretended to be a man for my safety… I briefly looked at the boy who was lying in the room of Gato's base… boy and walked out of the room where I was... I looked around and could see the many mercenaries that worked under Gato's orders... I walked all over this facility or Gato's base, the walls were grimy... dark grey... plants sticking out of the walls and the floor full of blood and mice... This place is completely disgusting... The 3 weeks we've been here disgust me... I already want to leave as soon as possible... I walked into Zabuza-sama's room which was close to mine and where we put Naruto... I stared at Zabuza-sama before entering and noticed that he was sleeping peacefully... I smiled and sat next to him while taking out the strange book that Kakashi Hatake had in his things, I must say the name is strange. Icha Icha Paradise... that's the name of the book, I know, I've heard it somewhere and that's why I got curious... So the girl named Haku Yuki ventured into a not-so-good book to read... while our protagonist Naruto Uzumaki rested in the next room...
