Chapitre 20: 1 Year Later
[A/N: The poll decided for me to skip the War. I'll have some references to it, quickly describing some events that happened which included Midora.
In the future, there might be a flashback to the War, a quick one about Midora's battle with Madara.]
(Midora's POV)
"Midora-san!" I heard a voice followed by several knocking on my door, "Lord Kakashi is summoning you!!"
I groaned as I opened my eyes, wincing at the sunlight hitting my face, "What the hell...." I said, "So fucking early...shit.."
I was lying on the couch in my apartment, I had passed out last night due to exhaustion. I had returned from my 2 week long mission out of the Village; I was at Iwa helping the Tsuchikage with some shit.
I sat up, "Ugh...."
It's been a year since the Great Ninja War ended. The Akatsuki and Madara were defeated. It was one of the craziest experiences I've had in my life and I've had a pretty eventful life.
Many warriors from the past were resurrected with the Second's Edo Tensei Jutsu, used by Kabuto. The Masked Man, who turned out to be Obito, had the dead Jinchuriki under his control with the Biju in them. I ended up fighting them alongside Kakashi and Guy during the war. It was crazy, I still can't believe I fought 4 of them at the same time, pulling out all the stops.
Things got crazier when the Ten-Tails got revived and I had to lock in for that thing, trying my best to keep everyone safe using my Wood Style. The Hokage also ended up getting resurrected by Orochimaru and they proceeded to help us. It was surreal, meeting Hashirama and being praised by him for my strength. I learned a thing or two from him too, he was really strong.
At the end, I fought Madara who was the Ten-Tails' Jinchuriki, but lost. I tried my best, though, fully utilizing my Sage Mode and Wood Style. I even pulled out a page from Naruto's book and used a Lava Style: Rasenshuriken. Not just one, but a lot. I tried my best, man. Madara ended up beating me, almost killing me.
Turns out that a Goddess came back and Team 7 fought her, beat her, and ended the war. Also, while I was out, the Sage of Six Paths used a powerful version of the Rinne Rebirth to bring back the Jinchuriki, albeit keeping the Biju outside. He claimed that it was right to give them a second chance. Or something like that.
Naruto and Sasuke ended up having a final battle in which they lost one of their arms. I was so pissed when I found out and wanted to kick their asses so bad.
Ever since then, things were much crazier, despite being in an era of peace.
I still heard the knocking on my door, "Midora-san!" I heard Shikamaru's voice on the other side
I groggily stood up and dragged myself towards the door and opened it, "What?" I said as I looked at the surprised guy, "What is it?"
"Whoa." He said, "You look like shit."
"I haven't slept for 3 days, can a guy get some 8 hours in?" I said rubbing my eye, "What's going on?"
"You're being summoned by the Hokage, Midora-san." He said, "I'd say to get dressed but...."
"Shut up...." I said, "I'm going."

"You don't look like your usual self, Midora." Kakashi said as he sat on his desk, "Is your chakra being drained still?"
I rubbed my head, "Don't speak too loudly, Kakashi..." I said, "What is it you need?"
"Uhm..." Shizune said, "Midora, are you feeling okay? You look paler than usual...."
I looked at her as she stood next to Kakashi, "I'm fine...." I said, "Why was I summoned here?"
"Hm..." He said, "One of the former Jinchuriki, Han, has requested help from you."
I sighed, "Help? With what?" I asked, "What is it now?"
"I can always decline for you." Kakashi said, "He needs to find Kokuo, the Five Tails. Apparently, the Five Tails is missing."
I sighed, "Send Naruto." I said, "I'm quite tired...."
"Very well." Kakashi said, "I'll let him know. Go and get some rest, you look like you need it."
"Uhuh..." I said
"Oh and one more thing." Kakashi said
I raised an eyebrow, "The Raikage is coming over next week." He said, "I thought you should know, considering that Samui is coming along as well."
"Oh." I said as I smiled, "Yea, that's nice. Very nice. Anyways, I'll catch you later."
"Please rest, Midora-san." Shizune said, "Lady Tsunade would hate it if you get sick while she was gone."
I rubbed my hair, "Well, let me know when she's back from the Mist Village, alright?" I said, "In the meantime, I'll stay in the Village for a while."

"These eyes...." I said rubbing my left eye, "They itch...."
I was walking down the street, my whole body aching and burning slightly. Ever since the War, my body has been acting different, constantly aching and feeling like burning up. Which was odd, I was a user of the Lava Style, I shouldn't feel this hot.
"Midora-san!!" I heard a voice call out
I stopped and turned around, "Hm?" I said
I saw as Ino jumped at me with her arms open, "You're back~~!!!" She exclaimed
"Ho!" I said catching her in a huh, "Hey, Ino!"
I spun around as she wrapped her arms around me, "Hehe~!" She laughed
I stopped as I set her down and she stepped back, seeing her in full view. She looked beautiful, wearing a long purple skirt and a matching top that revealed her sexy midriff. Her hair was longer than it was last year, so pretty and lush. I ain't gonna lie, it was hard not to stare it for too long.
She had turned 18 a few months after the War, in which I've saved her multiple times, adding more to her feelings for me. She confessed to me right as she turned 18, in which I couldn't refuse her. Her feelings were as genuine as Samui's.
She was blushing as she tucked her hair behind her ear, "Been a long two weeks without you." She said softly, "I missed you..."
I chuckled, "Yea, I did too." I said
Ino then placed her hands behind her back, pushing her chest out a bit, "So...." She said, "You busy?"
I knew she was doing it on purpose, she was tempting me with her nice and beautiful breasts.
I shook my head, "Not really...." I said, "Lord Sixth was gonna send me to a mission but I declined. I'm too tired...."
"Oh?" She said, "You feeling okay?"
She reached and patted my forehead with the back of her hand. It was so soft and the sight of her body this close to me was arousing me.
"Just fatigued...." I said
"This isn't like you...." She said worriedly, "You got temperature.."
I smiled and held her by the waist, "Let's go to my place and we can catch up." I said as I leaned into her,
"We can play doctor if you want."
