Chapitre 7: Konoha's Power
"Wood Path: Ground to Wood Conversion"
Finally, the wood started listening. In no time, Fang Yuan would win
"I can't generate as much wood though."
"Well it doesn't matter anyway, I can borrow it instead."
Fang Yuan looked around, the forest once brewing with life had become a plain around Fang Yuan, the animals desperately running away from the source of chaos. All that remained was the trees. The tress erected by none other than wood release, the time for their use it is.
"Join me dear forest of death. I shall honour your name one last time."
The trees listened, each sinking into ground, becoming one. The forest was flattened, all the trees spiralling around Fang Yuan, slowly getting absorbed by his arm.. The wood's successor slowly got up, what should have been a stump replaced by a wooden arm brimming with power. The exam was long over, it was time for war
The ANBU, the root, the jounin and even the Hokage, frozen in surprise. Yamato wasn't like this. This wasn't some fake imitation, this was the real wood release.
"Hokage-sama, what should we do?" An ANBU asked.
Even the elite jounin were overwhelmed. This guy surely wasn't at Yamato's level. Should they still engage the enemy now in his own domain?
Hiruzen wasn't much different. This wood release was at the level of Hashirama-sensei, the strongest shinobi to ever live. The letter might have actually come from Tobirama-sensei.
Fang Yuan condensed an entire forest as his right arm. Observing the silence after his wood release, he decided to speak.
"Konoha's leaves"
"The founding power, the strongest kekkei genkai has returned, yet this time not for blessing, but for destruction."
"Today is the end of Konoha"
"Today I shall topple over your tree, Senju Hashirama"

Meanwhile, Naruto was jolted awake by the sudden shaking of the ground. His eyes snapped open, still blurry from sleep.
"What the heck is going on, dattebayo?" he mumbled, barely able to process the chaos around him before a massive branch broke loose from a nearby tree, hurtling toward him.
"AAAH!" Naruto screamed, scrambling to move, only to be saved at the last moment by Sasuke, who yanked him to safety.
"Wake up, idiot!" Sasuke growled, his eyes scanning the rapidly changing environment. The trees were shrinking, as though they were being pulled back into the earth, their towering trunks retreating into the soil. The once-thriving forest was vanishing before their eyes.
"Sasuke? What's happening? Why are the trees… uh… un-growing? And where's Sakura-chan?" Naruto asked, bewildered.
"I don't know," Sasuke replied, his voice low with suspicion. "But this shouldn't be a part of the exam."
They kept dodging falling branches as the last of the trees sank into the ground. Then Sasuke stopped, his eyes wide as if he'd seen something that chilled him to the bone.
"Hey, Sasuke! What's wrong? Did you eat some bad milk or something, dattebayo?" Naruto asked, still oblivious.
Sasuke swallowed hard, pointing straight ahead. "Naruto… look."
Naruto followed his gaze, turning to see a lone figure standing in the distance. Fang Yuan, surrounded by the remnants of the forest he had just absorbed, and on the other side, tens of Konoha ninja, poised to strike, including their own sensei.
"Haa… why are there so many shinobi here? Do you think they came to congratulate us dattebayo?" Naruto said, stars in his eyes.
"Idiot…" Sasuke hissed, his voice barely a whisper. "Look closer. Our shinobi… they're trembling."

"Jounins, ANBU, Root. Whoever you are, eliminate this man even at the cost of your life." Hiruzen commanded.
He was standing at the forefront now, the elite jounin at his sides. The others in a semi-circle behind them. The battlefield was in a standoff.
"We are all elites here. You all know the danger of wood release at enemy hands, especially one as strong as his so don't hold back. It is time to attack."
At the command, swords unsheated, kunai wielded.
The Konoha shinobi would protect their home no matter what.
Fang Yuan's chakra was charged and raged, the ground stirred in excitement. Wood loved life force and it would absorb a ton today.
Then both sides suddenly burst with speed.
Guy was charging ahead, easily being the fastest, he met Fang Yuan first. He shot forward with a 5th gate kick mid-air but Fang Yuan went below and forward, avoiding Guy. The weaklings had to be eliminated first. Anbu were helpless against Fang Yuan, all they had were projectiles. 2 kunai from behind, 3 senbon from the sides. They could not hit Fang Yuan, getting deflected back with utmost precision. Kakashi came from the front, engaging him using his sharingan, barely keeping up. Fang Yuan had become even faster. Minato's seals were slowly dissapearing. A gentle fist attack came from the side, a Hyuga. Fang Yuan was about to counter it but had to duck, sensing the body possession technique going above his head. A genjutsu threw him off balance. He shook it off. Kakashi used his chidori, charging at him. A wind slash, three kunai from one side, a poisoned senbon aimed at his neck. Hyuga was coming closer. Some bugs were trying to latch onto him.
"Come alive" Even though Hashirama's influence still lingered, protecting his home even in death, even he couldn't stop a fellow wood user for so long.
A wooden tendril caught the Hyuga's ankle, he fell to the ground. The kunai were deflected by the wooden arm. Fang Yuan created a chidori blade, destroying the senbon in the process. He charged at the Hyuga but the woken up Asuma intercepted him. Wind chakra countered chidori. Kakashi was coming from the back. Just as Fang Yuan was about to wooden spear Asuma, Guy came from the side and tackled him. He was thrown back, the wood cushioning his fall yet his bones were damaged. If he hadn't used chakra in time, he would have been dead. But Guy couldn't move for a short while. He had been electrocuted by the dissipating chidori blade.
Before Fang Yuan could get back up he was in another genjutsu. He instantly dispersed it but he couldn't move. His shadow was fixed in place. A wind blade was approching. Along with the chidori and a kunai with an explosive tag.
Fang Yuan warped the wood under the Nara's feet, changing his place and breaking the jutsu. The wind blade went through his wooden arm which regenerated back instantly. He stepped back from Chidori and fired a finger of the wooden arm, exploding it near Kakashi. Kakashi had to retreat. Fang Yuan made a wooden staff from the arm. He quickly used a genjutsu on Kakashi. He was about to throw the staff at him but a possession technique got him. He broke free masterfully and threw the staff but it was hit by another stronger one, getting broken. The Third Hokage had joined the battle. Guy who had opened the 6th gate suddenly threw a punch. The pure kinetic energy created flames, threatening to engulf Fang Yuan. The nearby shinobi retreated. The Third Hokage used a Wind Breakthtough Jutsu, feeding the natural flames. Finally, because some bugs were bothering him, absorbing his chakra, Fang Yuan had enough. He arised wooden canals from the ground. He had already made countless branches underground, absorbing all the moisture. A wide scale water jutsu was shot, mimicking the Second Hokage, stopping the flames. Steam was produced but Hiruzen skillfully purged it with wind manipulation. Fang Yuan had created numerous water channels at all directions in the meantime. He shot out pressurized water at all directions, killing most ANBU.
"Guy" Kakashi called.
"Is it time for our super secret combination taijutsu my eternal rival" Guy shouted out.
Kakashi's eye twitched.
Guy hurled Kakashi at Fang Yuan at unimaginable speeds, rivaling Yondaime's flickering. His chidori was screaming, looking for blood. Fang Yuan raised wooden shields but Kakashi pierced through. With no other option, not wanting to bury himself and get crushed by the angry wood underneath, Fang Yuan warped the ground upwards to get away. The pillar was cut, leaving him off balance mid air. Hiruzen shot an unrivaled fire jutsu, capable of melting steel. Asuma and numerous Sarutobis breathed out smoke at the other side. A terrifying combination jutsu was coming. Realising the perilous situation, Fang Yuan directed all the water at the fire successfully stopping it. The gas still advanced though. Before Fang Yuan could use a wind technique to avoid it, an enlargened hand lunged him into the gas. The hand was severed by the water but it had done its job. A brave Akimichi indeed. The other shinobi used fireball techniques with few even adding wind techniques within. The gas was about to be ignited. The shinobi scrammed behind bloody water shields made from the water that killed their comrades while the others were behind the barrier made by multiple sealmasters a few moments ago. The fire and gas contacted.
BOOM The gas-fire explosion shook earth.
