Chapitre 196: wait and watch

"Uh, sorry big brother! I was busy talking with my mom. " Lauren says once Liam picks up the call, she had called him back as soon as she saw missed calls on her phone log, and like Deja Vu, it was her who had been calling him continuously. She felt relief once Liam picked up the call after her numerous tries. 

"What were you so busy with huh?" Liam questions slightly irritated as he collapses on the bed with his hand holding his phone against his ear. Lauren chuckles from the other side and says, "I wanted to come back but mom didn't allow me. " 

"Why?" Liam questions finding it strange, Lauren could walk in and out of that house freely then he was confused why she was not allowed now. Then he couldn't grasp the reason behind her words, "Why? Did we do something wrong?"
