Artie once again slept in the wagon along with some knights who would be on watch later, only depending on the blankets for warmth and the integrity of the knights for safety. In her mind, she was replaying the words uttered by the great guardian of the Lady of the Land. She didn't doubt his presence as she had first met the demon within these deserts after all.

However, she figured that the system didn't shut down this time as Artie was capable of resisting it… or that it wouldn't attack her anymore. It's just that… that matter was not what Artie was dwelling in for tonight.

The Great Illum had spoken of strange things. He referred to Artie as someone who paraded her capability to protect 'His Majesty'. She was not trying to protect any king; neither was she aware of anyone referred to as 'His Majesty' by the demons… aside from their Supreme King. Even the demon emperors wouldn't call the royalties of Galacia with their proper addresses.
