Chapitre 36: ‘Don't open the door when you are home alone’

Seraphina was holding a sandwich, her cheeks puffed out adorably as she ate. But Linden was dissatisfied seeing the sandwich in her hand: how could she just eat something so simple for lunch, especially with a demanding afternoon ahead? Sure enough, Seraphina began to complain, 'Ah! The chef was fired, no humans to cook for us today, the machine-made food is so awful!'

Linden responded, 'Then tonight I'll make you something delicious. How about beef?'

'Yes, I'd love some!' Seraphina said, 'And I want something sweet.'

'I've made taro balls, how about taro balls with sago served with a bit of yogurt?'

'Perfect!' Seraphina hugged her sandwich, eating while occasionally glancing elsewhere. Linden then fell silent, just tenderly watching her, allowing her to eat in peace. After she finished, she asked him, 'Did you eat well? Did you have your nutritional powder?'
