Chapitre 49: Market

**BOBERRE'S POV***

It had been five days since that girl got to my house. Five days and I had already been so pissed off with this whole thing. She couldn't cook. She was only mediocre at cleaning. And she apparently got injured easily because she was too hurt to move the first night.

All I had to say was that the girl better learn how to do her jobs better, or she will be finding herself on the wrong end of some punishment. I didn't want to be the one doing all the housework when I had taken her to do it for me.

I had taken a lot of flack about it too. People all over the lower city were asking me why I was investing so much time in securing myself a human maid over the last five years. Well, they didn't know that the only thing this girl cost me was a few nights a year of checking on her and her family. I didn't have to actually pay a penny for her. And I didn't have to kill her family for her.
