***ADDIE'S POV*** 

As soon as we landed, I stepped out of the carriage. We hadn't even stopped moving yet, but I didn't care. I was in a hurry, and so were the others. 

The other soldiers and royals were running from their still moving carriages as well. Callum was rushing straight toward me, a look in his eyes like I've never seen before. I knew him as a kind soul, someone I love dearly. That expression, however, was anything but kind. 

The way Callum was looking at the approaching soldiers, who had stopped and were watching us from a distance, I could tell he was seething with rage and wanted nothing more than to destroy every enemy in sight. Callum, being the righteous and good person he is, hated to see people weaker than him getting hurt. It's why he had no problem with changing the way things worked in our country.
