Due to the fact that the entire research base was within a mountain, I had no way of knowing whether the sun was out or not. Due to this, I had no idea what time it was. There were no clocks within my field of vision inside the infirmary, while my phone was apparently confiscated by my father before he placed me within the cave. Therefore, the only thing I could do right now was to meditate.

My breath slowed as I breathed through my nose deeply. After awhile, I had reach a state where my mind was completely empty. However, I could still hear an incessant whisper coming from deep within my heart. Although I could not hear what it was saying, the whispers caused me to become quite irritated. Due to this, I was unable to reach the completely calm state I had originally hoped for. The voice was like an itch underneath your skin, no matter how you scratch it, you are still unable to get rid of the feeling within you.
