To be honest, even if Leo is really 18 years old, as he said he was, it still doesn’t explain how he got a driver’s license from under my nose all this time. This topic immediately came up as I continued to bicker with Leo in front of the reception, while the lady was away scanning the driver’s license from a printer out back.

“When did you even find the time to do the driving test?” I couldn’t help but say, glaring at Leo unpleasantly. “I haven’t even seen you drive once these past few years!”

“I did it when you and your father eloped to who knows where last summer.” Leo pouted and bickered back, glaring at me intensely. “I got really bored at home playing video games every single day, so instead I decided to do my written test and got my initial temporary driver’s license back then! Since it takes a minimum of a year after the written test to qualify for the driving test, I’m going to have my father teach me how to drive this summer within a month!”
