Chapitre 62: How Things Will Be

NICK'S POINT OF VIEW

Nick watches as you walk away and every last fiber in his being wants to run after you and hold you in his arms again. As he watches you go away the more he starts to lose everything that holds him upright. He falls once more to his knees and his mind plays all the memories he had with you and how happy he was with you in his life. How he knew he would break up with Helena and he would be with you. 

But now he finds himself on the ground with tears in his eyes after hearing the words that he longed you to say for so many days. He loves you so much that the hurt in his heart can't go away. He feels everything inside him dying piece by piece. He knows in his soul that it's the right thing to do. He knows he can't let his child grow up without seeing the love between his parents. He doesn't know what it means to love someone today because he never saw his parents love each other.

He stands up from the ground and dusts himself off.
