Nothing made sense that very moment as Lance stood there in confusion in the fog with his dragon mask still on over his face and his hair sticking up like a hedgehog, eyes squinted shut against the bright lights surrounding them as he tried to figure out what was going on around him and if it could be anything more than some sort of trick.

He opened his eyes slowly, letting them adjust to the dim light and take in the scene before him. His mouth went dry as his eyes landed on Keith sitting across from him in what had to be the largest conference room he'd ever seen, a huge table in front of him covered in piles and stacks of papers and folders.

The man himself sat hunched down at the head of said table, pen moving quickly across the paper, as he stared at his computer screen, completely absorbed by whatever he was working on.
