'….' I didn't even know how I found myself standing back in front of the queens door.
My mind was twisting and my body was heated up, I found it hard not to imagine the queen pleasing herself after what she had told me. I stood dumbly for a few moments before finally letting out a breath and reaching up to run a hand through my hair only to pause when I reached the slicked back gelled prison.
'Damn it'
I felt my eye twitch in annoyance as I glanced back at the closed door once more. Finally after a couple of seconds I walked away feeling as though I had just been in a brawl, That I had apparently lost to the mature droopy eyed woman who always knew what to say.
The hallways were basically empty beside the occasional set of patrolling guards after all everyone was mingling down stairs in the grand hall. I honestly didn't want to go back even though I knew I should, So I purposely slowed my pace as a last act of rebellion while looking around the large hall.
'Hm?' I only stopped when I passed by a wide window that overlooked the lush castle gardens.
'Scarlett?' I saw familiar short crimson red hair that seemed to shine beneath the moonlight.
My hand reached for my pocket where I felt the box still hidden away. I had originally planned to do it after the night was coming to an end but now was as good as any time, I didn't hesitate to quickly start to walk once more with slight nervousness gnawing away at my chest.
Before long I found myself in an over the top garden that felt like stepping into a meticulously curated forest. Thick pine trees towered overhead while bushes trimmed into designs laid into a pathway, Added with the shimmering moonlight the serene beauty of the scene was undeniable but it only got better.
'…' My eyes landed on the figure of Scarlett standing in front of a stone fountain that splashed water.
I was left stunned seeing the almost blue light shining down on her. She had already looked incredible with her red dress that hugged her curves perfectly but the surroundings only added to her beauty, I smiled slightly and stepped forward letting my presence be known as the fluffy ears on top of her head twitched.
"Slacking off on the job?" I clicked my tongue as Scarlett looked over her shoulder and raised one of her sharp eyebrows.
"The Duchess has business with a merchant so I was temporarily relieved of my duties" Her plump lips curled upward while turning around and crossing her arms.
"What's the hero's excuse for ditching the banquet?" I kept quiet deciding that the best course of action was to Ignore her words.
"It's beautiful out here" I smiled letting my gaze wonder around as Scarlett seemed to do the same.
"It reminds me of the forbidden forest" Scarlett nodded while making a weird expression.
"Only less things that try to kill you" I laughed slightly at her words although I couldn't help but agree.
"I'm surprised that Alexia actually had business to attend to" I came by her side as Scarlett's sweet scent wafted through the blowing winds.
"I thought she was just trying to get away from the king and his constant need to interrupt you" I decided to forgive Alexia whether or not she had purposely ditched me.
"Yes that man is quite….irritating" Scarlett nodded while looking around to make sure no one was listening.
"But I'm thankful you're alone" I spoke causing the red haired woman to narrow her eyes before a blush came onto her cheeks.
"M~master w~we can't do such a thing out here" Scarlett's tone was full of bashfulness causing my eyes to go wide.
"T~that's no what I meant.." I coughed and reached into my pocket grasping onto the small box.
"Scarlett" I hesitated feeling her confused gaze on me as my nerves twisted throughout my stiff body.
"You are an incredible woman" I slowly pulled my hand out as Scarlett's eyes moved down before widening.
"You've known me since before I became the man in front of you today" I opened the box exposing a ring with a large diamond shinning the second light it hit.
"Y~you.." Scarlett covered her mouth with her hands in disbelief as her crimson eyes started to water.
"Will you do me the honor" I smiled feeling my heart pounding as I grabbed the ring and held it up in between us.
"And became my wife?" I had expected confusion or hesitation after all me and Scarlett hadn't been close for long.
"Yes" Yet my expectations were shattered when Scarlett instantly stepped froward wrapping her arms around me.
"Mn!" Her plump lips smashed into mine as I tasted her sweetness while trying not to drop the ring.
I pushed forward as her meaty breasts pressed against my chest like a pair of firm cushions. Our lips meshed together roughly like we were trying to speak with our mouths. Salvia dripped between us until we finally pulled back with both of us breathing heavily, Our foreheads resting together beneath the moonlight.
"I guess the hero has a taste for older women" Scarlett's teasing words broke the silence making me smile in response.
"Perhaps" I pulled back grabbing her dainty hand lifting it up as she held out her finger for me.
"I just like your fluffy ears though" I smirked as I slid the very expensive ring onto her slender finger.
"Shut up" Scarlett had a bright smile holding her hand in the air to admire the symbol of the feelings between us.
"….Husband" She hesitated with a soft voice that seemed like an exited little girl leaning forward again.
Our lips meshed together once more as I trailed my hands down her skin waist and let them rest on her wide hips. I gripped her tightly as if I was afraid she would escape, Her tongue darted around in my mouth the sounds of crickets rang out around the midnight garden.
"I love you" Scarlett pulled back inch's away from my lips and spoke such words that made my heart warm.
"I love you to" The response flowed naturally as we stared at each other with matching teary eyes in each others arms
