[Welcome to Argoth]
[Begin your journey by—
"What!? How did this happen! I was the King! How did this fate befall me!" A man standing on the edge of a rock screamed.
Even though his voice was quite manly, his appearance wasn't. In appearance, he was a slim and short boy who was only about 5"5" feet tall. He had grey hair with a hint of white added to it. And for some reason, he was standing there totally naked.
[You are not a leveler]
[You are now transmigrated! Now, you must start your journey as a non-leveling mage!]
"What? What a disgrace! I cannot go on without leveling! I was the king! I was the strongest one in the whole world! With a slash, I separated moons! You cannot do this to me!?" The boy yelled out once more.
Yes, the boy... His manly voice had disappeared and now he had a voice that matched his appearance.
[Alan Rivolt, You must start your journey from the beginning again. Now, you have reincarnated as a mage. I wish you luck on your journey!]
The voice spoke once more. But the boy was bewildered. His name had changed even.
He could remember his past crystal clear. Personal maids, princesses from every land, the strongest army of the kingdom, and the one who wielded the best system.
The Dark monarch was the name given to him by his people. He loved it as much as the people loved him. And now, he was reborn.
What was the cause of this? Why was he reborn? He started to wonder...
"My King, have this cup of wine, it helps you to grow two times longer than you do..." the princess had given him an extraordinary cup of wine.
It was poured into a golden cup, and it even had the smell of the finest berries. And seconds after he drank it... he passed out.
"THAT BITCH!"
He screamed from the top of his lungs. But the childish scream couldn't even touch the horizon. It wasn't the roar of a lion. More like an impudent scream of a fox.
He closed his eyes and took a deep breath to process all of these things that had happened to him. He never thought that such a fate would befall him.
Then, he slowly opened his eyes.
Only after opening his eyes again, he notice the strange place he was standing on.
Clouds of mist were covering his body, and he could feel the chill of the mist touching every part of his body. He knew that he was standing on the rock, totally naked.
He was the strongest man in his previous life. So he knew everything about systems... But his last system did not speak like this.
"System... Show me my statistics."
<<Statistics of Alan Rivolt>>
[Name: None]
[Level: 000]
[Class: Mage]
[Skills: 0]
[Destiny: Survivor]
[Inventory: 2]
[Rank: Starter]
[Mana: 40/40], [HP: 10/40], [Stamina:40/40], [Strength: 11/40], [Energy: 9/40], [Handsomeness: 40/40]
This got on the boy's nerves. One minute, all of these statistics were increased to 1000 and the other minute they are down to 100. And worst of all, his strength was 11.
"I was the... Strongest. Now I'm weaker than the servant who scrubbed my hair daily! This is an utter disgrace!"
But he could not go back now. He squatted by the side of the rock he was standing on and started to think.
'Argoth... The same Kingdom I ruled. As a non-leveling survivor, there was no way I could become the king once more. But how was I reborn —"
He remembered the thing that went wrong in his life before.
[150th Child of your blood is now born. You are granted the power of Transmigration]
'Sigh... This useless reward for that fucked up achievement.' The boy sighed, shaking his head in disgrace. 'Only if I hadn't impregnated that many of my beauties...'
But there was no going back now. His sins would not be overlooked now, but why was it so much of an achievement?
The cold mist slowly faded away and he saw the source that released such a mist. He was standing on a rock that had been emerged from a wide river.
"A river?" He took a look around to see if something noticeable was there. From afar, he could hear the sound of running water. More like the sound of a waterfall.
'A waterfall? A river... And...' he looked further into the wilderness that covered his surrounding. Leaves in the color of yellow. Large oaks near the river bank. Grass blades grew not so tall.
What was this place? He still had no idea of the whereabouts. Once more, he turned and looked at the treetops.
Butterflies of a radiant green danced about on the treetops. Instantly, he recalled the name of the forest. "The Forest of Radiant Green!" It was the name given to this forest by the elders of Argoth. And nearby, was the village of the wood elves... 'Hysteria'.
He looked down at his naked body. First of all, the thing he needed was clothes. He had no idea why he was here in the first place, but then again... Destiny is a twisted fate.
"Show me the inventory!" He said.
[ Inventory: 2
: Level 1 Shadow Cloak
: Level 1 Common Wand]
"A shadow cloak... Better get on to these then," he thought. As he recalled in his previous life, the way to use an item in the inventory was to wish for it. So... He did just that.
'Unlock Shadow Cloak!' The boy whispered. Suddenly, a dark mist covered his body and he was covered in a cloak.
For some reason, there was a dark mist released from the cloak constantly. He did not know the reason... But he guessed that was why it was called, "Shadow Cloak."
'Hmm... A mage, huh? I was a knight before... I do not know how a mage works but from what, Rivalt had always told me... This must be something easy.' Edward told himself.
Rivalt, the strongest mage that served for him. He was his servant as well as his good friend. He had tried to teach him magic but Edward never wanted anything more than a simple sword to slaughter an army.
He closed his eyes and searched his memories for a moment that he studied about a mage. It was in the public library of the Castle of Telor.
"Mages... Takes a deep breath and feels the stimulation around them. In advance, they imagine the sky... Their destination is not to fly but touch the very skies. And—"
"Good evening, Prince Alan. What a delicate surprise... Studying the mages? Oh... Reminds me... Are you coming to the ball tonight?" The librarian's witchcraft beauty distracted him with her words and a gentle touch on his shoulder that stimulated him at another place.
Only now, he saw the consequences of not reading it thoroughly without sending his hand towards her fine-shaped body.
"Damn me... I should've read another two pages before doing her behind the shelves."
But the information was enough.
"Take a deep breath... And feel the surrounding eh?" He did just that. And seconds later, his feet were not touching the ground. But he did not close his eyes and kept imagining the skies.
[Mana: 35/40]
"What?!" he opened his eyes, absolutely astonished by the event. He didn't even do anything and the qmana had already decreased down by 5 points.
Then, he noticed that he was standing on the surface of rock near a river but his feet weren't feeling any moisture.
He looked around and saw a barrier made from the water surrounding him.
"Woah—"
