Julieta had to keep at bay the urge to keep Mirabel with her forever, but it was time to have her move with Luisa.
They had already moved an extra bed here and Mirabel's stuff was already in place
Luisa's room was big enough to accommodate everything with space to spare as a matter of fact there was so much space Julieta blamed herself for not thinking of doing such thing in the first place.
However at the moment Julieta was worried, because Mirabel always had nightmares when she wasn't with her.
"if you have a nightmare, our door is always open" she had repeated at the least a dozen times to her daughter, but Julieta's mother instincts told her Mirabel wasn't going to listen and try to deal with it herself so as of consequence Julieta had been ready to get Mirabel back should she notice she was more tired than usual.
Little did she know she had nothing to worry about.
Mirabel's stuff, furniture and bed had been put at the opposite side of Luisa's, which got rearranged to be on the other side.
Luisa was far enough that Mirabel felt like sleeping she was sleeping by herself again, but it was fine to her because she knew she wasn't going to hurt anyone if she got a nightmare even if after staying so long cuddled in her parents’ bed she did feel out of sorts.
It was fine, she can do this.
What Mirabel didn't expect was Luisa moving her bed so they were side by side.
Mirabel barely had the time to wonder what was going on that Luisa hugged her close
"Night sis" Luisa simply said and was out like a light
"Night?" Mirabel tentatively said back, any attempt at slipping out her sister's grip was fruitless and Mirabel was tired from the physical therapy so she ended up failing asleep.
No nightmare occurred that night.
Julieta's heart melted at the sight of her daughters cuddling each other in their sleep.
It reminded her of when she did the same with Bruno and Pepa when they were younger.
One Isabela had seen the scene with jealousy.
