Chapitre 30: Rest And Recuperate

Matilda's POV:

I was already hungry. My stomach was rumbling. Who could still be this energetic when they hadn't eaten anything for more than twenty hours? The aroma of the food had already aroused my appetite. I wanted to eat the entire restaurant.

If it weren't for Judy, my appetite would be even better.

Judy was still struggling with what to eat. The others were also ordering good things to sit at the dining table. To escape her, I sat in the corner. A young waitress wearing an orange hat and apron enthusiastically handed me a menu. "What would you like to order?"

I quickly browsed through the menu and handed it to Baron, sitting across from me with a gloomy face. "Can I have a beef cheeseburger with french fries and a glass of orange juice, please?"

The waitress turned to Baron and asked with a smile, "What would you like to order then?"

"Anything," he said stiffly.
