Chapitre 51: Design's Shoot Comes Out
The next day was the release date for the new Design collection and the pictures.
Xu Anyi woke up early in the morning and went down to eat breakfast, her eyes slightly swollen from yesterday.
The pictures were scheduled to be released at noontime, but all of the fans of either Design or Xia Yiwei were bombing the comment section already, excited about how pretty their "princess" would look in the spring collection.
Xu Anyi scrolled through the comment section as she slowly ate her breakfast, looking at the comments that were piling underneath the video that was scheduled to be released with the pictures.
'I'm so excited! I haven't seen our Weiwei model in such a long time!'
'Yeah, I heard she has also been acting recently, so we might not be able to see her model for a while. I'm so sad!'
'I became a fan of Weiwei from seeing her model. She is so pretty and her body proportions are so nice! It is refreshing to see her in any clothes!'
'Design picked the right model this time!'
'But isn't there another model. . . I don't know what Design was thinking.'
'Yeah, it's going to ruin the picture. I only wanted to see Yiwei. Thinking about it makes me mad!'

And like that, a new hashtag was created and quickly rose to the top of the hottest searches on the Internet: 'Design and Design's new model ruined Xia Yiwei's pictures!'
Xia Yiwei looked at the new hashtag that quickly rose to the top before noon even came, and a smile appeared on her face. She wasn't even saying anything, yet she had hired some people to help push the comments in the right direction.
Just wait for the pictures to come out. . . Xu Anyi, you wanted to compete with me.
Your modeling journey hasn't even started yet, but it was already over.
Xia Yiwei smiled as she closed her phone and got out of bed with a bright smile. Today was going to be a good day.

It was a Thursday so Si Mu still had to go to work, and Xu Anyi had nothing to do since the only job she had so far was from Design, so she decided to go to work with him again.
They arrived at the company and Xu Anyi sat down on the couch, opened her computer, and pulled open Design's website to wait for the images to come out.
She had seen the comments but she was not upset at all. All she had to do was wait. Wait for the images to come out. And then. . .

Once the clock hit noon, the website page refreshed on its own and Design's new spring collection was officially released, with a collection of ten pictures that everyone has been waiting for on the top of the page.
The first six pictures were all group pictures with the two of them, with three in one costume set and three in the other. Then, the final four were individual pictures, each model with two.
Xu Anyi took one quick look through the pictures on the website, and her lips curled up in amusement as she closed out the page and pulled up the video that was also released.
The pictures looked fine. . . Because she only looked at herself. Well, her eyes were only drawn to herself, and maybe it was because Xia Yiwei had worn a white color that easily blended into the background, or maybe it was because she was just too unnoticeable, but she didn't even bother to look at Xia Yiwei, who seemed to be part of the background.
However, the video brought every little movement out and highlighted the two models.
At once, the comment section and the hashtag were all silenced.
How could this be possible?!
Xia Yiwei's fans did not say anything anymore, well they could not say anything anymore. Anyone who was not blind could see which model clearly looked better.
It would be nice to say that Xia Yiwei looked nonexistent in the video, but it would be more accurate to say that she looked like a clown next to Xu Anyi.
Everyone had thought that Xia Yiwei was professional for a model whose main profession was an actress, and her fans would always proudly say that Xia Yiwei could even compete with professional models.
However, when standing next to this completely new model that no one even knew, she looked unprofessional and dull.

In addition, it was clear that Xu Anyi's body proportions were much prettier than Xia Yiwei's, and although Xia Yiwei's fans did not want to admit it, Xu Anyi's facial features were also much more beautiful than their princess.
Xia Yiwei was pretty, but that was it. She was just pretty.
When standing next to each other, the difference was even more clear. Their makeup was similar, but when it was on Xu Anyi, it looked beautiful, elegant, and sharp, yet also blended in perfectly with her facial features, accentuating her natural face.
For several minutes, the comment section was mostly silent except for a few people who happened to come across the video and exclaimed:

'The one in the black. Wait, there are two models? I thought the one in the white is part of the backdrop?'
At this, Xia Yiwei's fans spoke up right away.
'Watch your mouth! Are you blind? The model in the white is Xia Yiwei!'
'Excuse me! You should watch your mouth! How would I know? The model in the black stands out much more, so I didn't notice the other model. Is that my problem?'
'Then go check your eyes!'
Soon enough, the comment section broke out into an argument, but it did not last long, for after a few minutes, Xia Yiwei's fans had lost their ground. They were not blind as well, and no matter how hard they tried to argue, it was clear that the new model had completely crushed Xia Yiwei in this shoot.
Although no one said anything, even many of Xia Yiwei's fans were going over to Xu Anyi's social media account to take a look at her, and many of them silently pressed 'follow'.
After looking at the video once, Xu Anyi was satisfied and she smiled pleasantly as she closed her phone and stood up from her chair, humming as she walked out of her room.
When she walked downstairs and reached the living room, she noticed Si Mu sitting on the couch, watching the television intently.
The music playing sounded familiar so she glanced over at the screen, and her eyes widened in surprise when she saw the video from her shoot on the large screen!
