Chapitre 23: Confrontation with the Troupe

{Ren POV}

The minimum bid is 8.9 billion and you only have 28 million. Listen, Southernbees is the premier auction house in the world. You can barely afford the entrance fee! Even if this game may have clues on Gene's dad what can ya do if it's near impossible to get?" said Leorio.

"But it was listed as easy in the Hunter's website!" said ile.

Gene- "It's probably because you only need money to get it."

As they continued their discussion on how to make easy money, "I'm going to visit someone. I'll be back soon," I say. "Well, so who are you going to meet?" enquires Freya. I smile and say, "Chrollo Lucilfer, the leader of the Troupe…" The look on Leorio's face was priceless as he said, "You know where he is! Never mind that, do you even know how dangerous the troupe is! They KILLED Kurapika's entire clan!" at which I just say, "Don't worry about me, I can handle myself. You guys should focus on making money." Saying that I disappear.

{3rd person POV}

In a broken building on the outskirts of the city were thirteen people discussing and concocting a plan to steal all the goods from the upcoming underground auction. A sudden flash of light can be seen as a boy with golden Hair and appeared seemingly out of thin air.

The 12 of the 13 create a distance between themselves and the boy. Hisoka waves and says, "What brings you here, Ren". Listening to Hisoka's conversation with the boy, they look at Hisoka demanding answers for who this boy is. "Hisoka! It seems that you have recovered from our previous encounter. Don't go challenging me again today. I don't feel like entertaining you today and for your question, I came here to meet Chrollo to see just how far his nen ability can go and to warn you all." said Ren with a smile.

"No one speaks of the boss like that!" said Feitan (Edgelord) getting ready to charge along with Ouvo (Beast like man) and Nobunaga (Edo swordsman) only to be stopped by Hisoka as he extended his arm and said, "I would suggest against fighting him. You will lose to him. I have challenged him on two separate occasions only to get one-punched. And the best part is that he didn't even use nen." said Hisoka with his signature Pedo-smile. Ignoring him, Ouvo says, "Just because you lost doesn't mean I'll lose! Besides, he knows where our base is!" and the three charge at Ren.

He just smirks looking at their brash actions. Chrollo noticing that something is wrong opens his nen book using an ability to teleport the back but it was too late. Ren had already taken out their souls. 3 lifeless bodies fall to the ground. The other troupe members get ready to attack Ren only to be stopped by Chrollo. "What do you want?" asked Chrollo with a serious look. "Well, nothing much. My friends are in town so I came to warn you not to harm any of them," said Ren as a bunch of images with names appeared on Chrollo's hand. "Is that all, I will make sure that the troupe will not cause any harm to them," said Chrollo as he looked through the pictures and passed them around.

"Actually, I also have another agenda. I want to see the extent of your nen ability, I assure you, I do not have any malicious intent. This might even help you." said Ren. "Sure," said Chrollo reluctantly as he knew he had no real choice. For the next few hours, Ren asked him to steal various forms of magic from fairy tail and techniques from Dragon Ball. After a bit of trial and error, Ren came to the conclusion that Chrollo was able to COPY most types of basic elemental magic spells. When he used these spells, instead of depleting his mana, his aura would grow weaker. As for Ki and chakra-based techniques, he wasn't able to steal or copy them.

"Well, thank you for your cooperation. As a reward, I will return them to normal," said Ren as he returned the soules of the 3 and disappeared. Chrollo took a deep breath of relief as Re left and the three got up in a dazed state. "What just happened? Where's that Kid?" enquired Nobunaga as he and the other two got up in a dazed state. Chrollo just looked at them and passed a bunch of pictures and said, "Under no circumstances are you to pick a fight with the boy. See to it that the people are not harmed in any way." The three were confused as they looked t the other members for an explanation only to be greeted by silence. Hisoka finally broke the silence as he said with his signature smile, "I told you not to mess with the kid. He's far stronger than any of us. Even the boss is only a speck of dust in the cosmos compared to him." said Hisoka infuriating Feitan, "Bullshi-" before Feitan could finish what he was saying, Chrollo interrupted, "What Hisoka said is true. No one in this world can defeat him. He effortlessly killed you all and then went on to revive you on a whim and he wasn't even using nen. He also has numerous other abilities." Hearing this the all just shut up and looked at Hisoka giving them an, 'I told you so' look.
