Seeing this scene, Ethan Smith felt at a loss for a moment.
He didn't even know how to explain it to Queenie Welch.
He couldn't possibly say that the person who talked during the day wasn't himself, right?
Queenie probably wouldn't believe him if he said that.
"Damn it, Drexel!" Ethan cursed silently.
But since it had already happened, it had to be resolved.
So, Ethan braced himself and walked towards Queenie.
As the distance between the two got closer, the atmosphere became more ambiguous.
Queenie dared not look directly at Ethan, her head lowered, and even her body was trembling slightly.
Ethan sat down on the bed and didn't say a word for a while.
"Well..."
After a long time, Ethan finally spoke.
"I'm sorry about what happened during the day," Ethan scratched his head.
Queenie said softly, "It's... it's fine. I don't mind..."
Ethan's face darkened, and he hurriedly explained, "I was joking about what I said during the day... Don't take it seriously."
