Ethan Smith remained silent, walking step by step towards the elderly man.
Clara Cobbett hurriedly blocked Ethan's way and said, "Carmen Taylor, he already said that. Don't... don't kill him."
Ethan's brow furrowed slightly as he coldly looked at Clara and said, "Are you sure you want to let him go?"
"I'm sure!" Clara said without hesitation.
Ethan didn't speak, pushed Clara aside, and then raised his hand, slapping the elderly man on the side of the neck.
The elderly man's eyes rolled, and he immediately fainted and fell to the ground.
Clara's face changed drastically. She looked at the elderly man lying on the ground, speechless.
"You see, originally he would have only been beaten. Now, his life is in danger," Ethan said coldly.
"Sometimes when doing good deeds, one needs to think, or it can easily lead to even greater disasters."
Clara remained silent, standing there for a long time.
