Jack pointed at the phone, his laughter threatening to spill from his mouth. "You look ridiculous. Is this what you want to be? This is what you are sacrificing our marriage for?"

Mia scowled at him. Jack had always been supportive of her career. He had once told her that one of the reasons he liked her was because of her modeling skill. "You know that is not true, and what are you doing here?"

He smiled, twirling a ring in his hand. Mia's gaze fell on their wedding ring. She had removed hers and kept it after she recovered from the hospital. "I came to show my support, but this is all I see." He moved closer to her, making her move further until she got to the edge of the couch. "You are so important to me, and everything concerning you as well is important. If this is what you want to be, then I am fine with it."

Mia raised a brow at him. "What exactly do you want from me, Jack?"
