It took a two-hour drive for the taxi to arrive in Yorknew City. After stopping in front of her apartment complex, Avery paid the taxi driver and thanked him before she made her way upstairs. 

Once she arrived in front of her doorway, she froze and looked at the hill in front of her door. 

No, it was not a hill. But it looked like one because the things that were placed in front of her door were piled upon each other, forming into a small hill and blocking her door. 

"What are these?" Avery asked herself, and walked forward. 

She didn't remember ordering anything online and no online shopping app sent her a notification that her parcel had arrived. So, what the hell is going on? 

The moment she got closer, the pungent smell coming from the things piled in front of her assaulted her nostrils, making her step back and lean against the wall while she covered her mouth and nose.
