Chapitre 228: 228- Fun in MSin Palace

When Rafael came inside, he found Marissa placing plates before the kids. Emily had already made them sit.

"Wow. You're back," Marissa said excitedly and smacked his shoulder, "Now help me, in placing this stuff, mister."

Rafael felt guilt creeping into his heart. All the stuff he was doing around, was for her. But she wasn't aware of it.

She had the right though.

But he couldn't bring himself to admit it in front of her.

"Sure, strawberry," he went inside the kitchen to collect the soup pot.

"This is the best breakfast ever!" he smiled when heard Alexander's voice coming from the living room.

He had finally started enjoying his father's presence in his life.

Rafael joined his family at the table and felt awkward and happy at the same time. An odd combination.

This was his family. He was responsible for their happiness and mental health, and he promised himself to do that all his life.

But why his heart wasn't at peace?
