100% Mr. Kent And ME [BL] / Chapter 240: The End

Chapitre 240: The End

"Two insignificant ants," the World Forger sneered.

He laughed arrogantly, pressing harder down on Superman, snapping his spine.

Superman, who had just barely regained the strength to prop himself up, was once again crushed into the dust beneath him.

…The ground beneath Superman was already soaked with blood.

Crack—

Seraphimon's broad sword shattered in the World Forger's grip.

The "Seven Heavens" flickered faintly in his palm, but the folded space confined its power to a single point, unable to inflict any meaningful damage on the World Forger.

Were they really about to fail like this...?

No.

No. That. Cannot. Happen!

Seraphimon's eyes were bloodshot, and he slowly clenched his fist. The light of the "Seven Heavens" grew brighter and brighter, forcing its way open, little by little, from the folded dimension—

Suddenly, a faint glow lit up Superman's eyes.

…A little girl, with unknown origin, had appeared in the distance, holding a lit candle, standing far away.

And then, more candlelight followed, more people.

From every corner of the Earth, people were lighting candles and holding them high toward the sky.

People emerged from their shelters, holding candles, looking around at one another, tears in their eyes as they gazed up at the heavens.

—As a higher-dimensional god, the World Forger had revealed himself to the entire world. At the same time, he had also shown the entire world a Superman who was fighting to the death for Earth.

Everyone watched as Superman fearlessly charged the World Forger again and again.

Even though they knew he was charging toward death.

Even though he was facing a god far beyond the comprehension of three-dimensional beings.

Even though he no longer had the Sun, and his body could no longer heal.

But with a broken body, covered in wounds, and clad in his tattered suit, Superman continued to protect this world, recklessly and fearlessly charging at a god.

Just as he had promised.

He would guard this world until his very last breath.

At first, the people had only been afraid, terrified, most of them praying, fearful that if Superman were to fall, humanity would only face death.

But gradually, they began to cry in each other's arms, moved by Superman's selflessness, by the unwavering determination in his eyes as he charged at the World Forger.

Superman had never failed humanity...

Superman was fighting with his life to protect Earth.

How could humanity simply stand by and watch their protector die?

More and more people began lighting candles for Superman of their own accord.

Perhaps the light of the candles could never truly replace the Sun, but one candle, two candles, three candles... billions of candles, in a desperate stance that consumed all the remaining oxygen on Earth, lit up the night sky.

Everyone understood that when they burned through all the oxygen, they would face death.

But humanity is a dignified species; human dignity cannot be stripped away even by a creator god.

The sun god, who loved the Earth with his life, was in need of light.

So they would light the torches for him in the darkness.

The candlelight, illuminated with tears and hope, was a different source of light than electric bulbs. The stars of candlelight, like a magnificent galaxy gathering on the surface of the Earth, carried the admiration and love of all humanity, reaching up to the heavens.

On the higher-dimensional battlefield, more and more light poured down from the darkness.

The scattered candlelight, originally just fireflies in the air, gradually began to converge toward a central point, like a stream flowing toward the center in a swirling current. Slowly, it coalesced into an increasingly bright and radiant orb of light—

A yellow glow slowly spread from Superman's brow, covering his entire body.

The ripped chest began to heal.

His beating heart grew stronger, pumping fresh blood throughout his body.

Shattered bones were mending.

The outer layer of his damaged skin stopped bleeding.

A new sun, formed from billions of candles, shone brilliantly in the sky!

It was bright and blazing, dazzlingly intense, even more vibrant than the original sun.

An unprecedented warm stream of light washed over Superman's body, bestowing him with immense power within just a few minutes.

Superman broke free from the World Forger's grasp and soared into the sky!

He charged toward the heavens, heading straight for that brand-new sun, slicing through the air like a waterfall, cleansing his wounds, all his accumulated blood, his heavy darkness, his mistakes, his past, his sins—

In that radiant glow, his white hair turned black, his wrinkles gradually faded, his strength surged, and his blue eyes grew increasingly bright.

…The youthful and handsome sun god reappeared in the eyes of seven billion people.

Restored to his youth, Superman basked in the golden glow, like a newly born celestial being, gazing at the World Forger.

The World Forger was filled with terror: "Where did this sun come from? This is impossible—no way! I folded the sun; there can't be a second sun on Earth—"

"Second sun," Superman replied solemnly, "is called hope."

His eyes were as blue as the sky, his right fist clenched, he flew toward the World Forger!

This was a punch that transcended time, space, and life. With this strike, all the power of Superman from all fifty-two parallel universes condensed in his fist. When love, faith, and hope became one, no one, no god could withstand the force of this punch!

Bang——!!

Across the entire universe, billions of stars rippled in waves centered on Earth, unleashing an unprecedented dimensional storm!

Superman's punch transcended the first, second, third, fourth, and fifth dimensions, reaching into the sixth dimension, striking through the realm of the creator god, and sending the once-unstoppable World Forger back into the omnipotent universe!

Dimensional layers shattered—

The World Forger's body scattered like butterflies in flight, transforming into golden energy within the six-dimensional space.

The six-dimensional world, the birthplace of the multiverse, was the origin of the World Forger and also the place where he would ultimately meet his demise.

"This is impossible—!"

Golden energy fragmented across various dimensions; Superman obliterated the energy source of the World Forger in one fell swoop, causing him to vanish into the void, much like Doctor Manhattan...

Superman gazed at the disappearing World Forger, lowered his head to look at his own hands, and then turned to return to Earth.

This cosmic disaster had finally come to an end.

The upheaval in higher dimensions reverted to normal after the death of the World Forger. Everything that had been destroyed returned to its starting point. The world was as peaceful as before, and those who had endured the nightmare looked up at the sun that had reappeared in the sky, overwhelmed with joy.

Superman slowly descended to the spot from which he had just departed.

He saw a familiar figure standing quietly in place.

—It was his beloved.

His star.

Recalling everything, Soren who are looking at the young Superman from afar, suddenly turned around and ran away without looking back.

"Soren!"

Clark hurried to catch up.

"Don't follow me! If you want to chase, then chase me for a lifetime! You jerk, Clark Kent!"

Soren shouted back at him angrily while running away from Superman.

"This isn't over between us!"
