Chapitre 55: Time and investment

Kaoma smiled and waved at Sydney as he came running up to greet her. 

"Rest over here for a moment, Old Alma said to eat this for breakfast because we'll be working non stop today and will need the energy."

He pointed to an old wooden bench that rested under the shade of a mahogany tree. 

She suddenly felt very hungry and gladly accepted the thinly cut hippo sandwiches from Sydney if she didn't know differently Kaoma would have thought it beef.

Since it tasted the same way, she washed it all down with the delicious hibiscus tea. 

Today Sydney looked very cute and angelic, he was wearing a light pink tunic embroidered with tiny pink rosebuds.

It was made with muslin fabric, one of the many gifts to him from the Sultan and reminiscent of his time in India. 

Just seeing the both of them sitting there lounging and eating breakfast brightened people's morning.
