"I hope we will see each other again, Mark," said Meral, and flew away with Ruib. I looked at them disappear, before walking out of the ship, into the huge city.

The ship had reached Marlin a few minutes ago; it took a day long, but that is expected with a bandit attack.

I stopped at the gates and showed id and other documents before entering the city proper.

I planned to stay in the city for around two days. I could leave early, if I finished with all my business, or stay a little more, if I am not.
