Chapitre 1: Creatures on the prowl
There were seven centipedes surrounding the boy named Drayan, a survivor with an evolved body.
Drayan, unafraid of danger, tightly gripped his dagger made from the long and pointed teeth of a modified killer fish.
The centipedes, as a group, moves towards him.
Drayan's dagger moves swiftly, slicing through every centipede that comes its way. The centipedes had their bodies split in two by his dagger.
He picked up the black-skinned, black-shelled centipede, opened its mouth, revealing sharp teeth, and bit down like an apple, tearing off a piece of the centipede.
He chewed and swallowed.
"Not tasty, as usual."
He used the back of his hand to wipe the black centipede blood from his lips.
"Now I must..."
Drayan looked at the twenty meter high building that was in front of him. He took courage, and crossed the door in search of some supply to continue living.
"This place is dark, it would be great if I had the cells of a firefly."
The light coming through the window made the place a little bright, but not enough for him to see properly. His walk down the hall was uneventful, but he never let his guard down.
He grabbed the hilt of his dagger when he found a door and opened it very slowly.
"Is anyone there?"

"Strange. I smell a human nearby. Maybe a dead body? Well, never mind."
He entered the room, looked around and found some bandages and medicine inside the cupboards.
"As expected from an abandoned hospital. Lucky for me, it looks like no one has searched this area."
He opened the backpack and put everything he found inside it. But that single moment left him careless.

His heart raced and his body froze. There was murderous intent hitting his back.
Tum-tum... Tum-Tum... TUM-TUM...
His heartbeat echoed in the air. He swallowed hard and turned around very slowly.
"What the fuck!"
The shadow of something jumped over him. All that was left was to use the dagger to counter that thing's attack.
It was dark, but he managed to recognize that it was a human attacking him.
"Why is this thing so strong..."
He uses the dagger to hold back the human's uncontrolled bite, but if that thing keeps biting his dagger blade, it will break.

He ran. But it wasn't enough, the human came running after him, with his hands on the ground, like a hungry tiger. Drayan looked back and could see the figure chasing him more clearly. It's a 'Zast' , still incomplete.
Zast is also known as soul cursed by dead. There was a city in the south, called Zast, and according to the stories, the origin of these things came from there. But it wasn't entirely true.
Why is there a Zast here?! I thought they only lived in the south!
He kept running, but the thing is too fast. In a matter of time, the skeletal humanoid figure, who hadn't eaten in months, closed the fifteen meters distance between them.
The human with old and torn clothing, with purple skin and the appearance of a man with black hair and red eyes, jumps towards him, his mouth watering.
The distance between them is only 2.5 meters now.

Drayan grabs the wrist of his right hand and turns his body towards Zast.
"CENT! DEVOUR!"
After those words, a green centipede, with more than two meters long, came out, ripping out of his palm.
The centipede quickly stretched itself out in a straight line, pushing Drayan's body back and advancing on Zast, who had his head swallowed with a single bite.
Blood gushed from the head stump of the decapitated body and painted the ceiling and wall red. The body fell to the floor, forming a pool of blood.
"Go back..."
The centipede flinched and was pulled into the hole in Drayan's palm.
"Why do you always have to eat my hand when I summon you?! Can't hold the hunger?!"
Enduring the pain, he took a vial of alcohol from his bag and threw it on the open wound.
Drayan looked for bandages and wrapped them around his hand. The white bandage was quickly colored red.
He then placed more layers of bandages over the hand to stop the bleeding.
"It's better now." — He opened and closed his hand.
"I hate using Cent, but I didn't have much of a choice. Unlike the others, Cent is the fastest to be summoned."
But seriously, what is a Zast doing here?
He approached the headless man and used his foot to move the body.
"What do I do with it? I could even eat it, but since it's a cursed human body, I might end up becoming one of those things too. Not to mention, it's illegal to eat others of my kind. I will be hunted by the world if I do that."
Humans who eat human flesh are blacklisted by the world. But of course, there's more to it than that. But Drayan currently didn't know much.
"I wanted to give this to Cent, to make him stronger, but if Cent feeds on too much cursed energy, he might pass out or I might lose control over him. If Cent gets too strong, I won't be able to control him."
Drayan, seriously thought about what to do in this situation.

He had to face the city of 'Gril', a city full of flying locusts that work in groups to eat other living beings.
They might be small, but there were a few, called Modified Locusts, that were as big as a car.
He encountered a modified grasshopper on his journey and only made it out alive thanks to 'Cent', who managed to seriously injure the creature.
Cent wasn't as big as he is now, so he didn't swallow the grasshopper in one go. But that was good for Drayan, who was able to feed on the grasshopper body and acquire the insect genes and microorganisms.
There were other dangerous places, like the 'Nikodon' bridge, which connected two cities. The problem with crossing this bridge was due to the creatures that lived in the ocean.
Any human trying to cross the bridge would be attacked by a group of killer fish.
It was very difficult to cross the bridge, when he was ambushed by a surprise attack of ten fish that jumped together towards him, but with the spinning cut technique, all the killer fish were killed with a single blow.
The spinning cut, this is a physical attack, which forces the user to rotate the body, while making a horizontal cut in the air.
There are three rotary cutting stages.

If it has tremendous strength, it can even create a hurricane, reaching stage three. Drayan was in stage two. He had learned this technique from Cent.
The green skin

But even without the body growth genes, he still had the complete wolf cell fusion genes, which make a temporary fusion between his cells and the creature cells, causing him to have the strength cells of a creature, a creature instincts, stamina, agility, along with some techniques, all of the creature physical attributes are given to Drayan. Drayan can have all this by activating the 'Aura' mode. However, aura mode cannot be used for a long time, otherwise there will be consequences.
So there is a time limit. After aura mode is turned off, the fused cells separate.
But the complete cell smelting mode is different from the normal smelting mode. Aura mode makes you have all of the creature abilities. Normal cell smelting causes you to acquire some of the creature abilities after the creature cells adapt to your body.
Getting the complete cell 'fusion' genes is rare, like finding gold in a mountain of rock. In addition to being rare, it is considered the second most desired and strong gene that exists in the primary world, second only to full-body mutation genes, which are even rarer, rare as finding a diamond in the middle of the street.
Drayan, had already become an abnormal human, with superhuman strength and endurance.
Otherwise, if it still had the body of a normal human, it would never have survived so long against these creatures.
The other city was the city of 'Cit' , this is the city he is currently in.
Drayan knew this city well, as he had passed through here more than three times. Unfortunately, he was going around in circles.
There was a modified creature that wouldn't let him reach the city of 'Dallen', From time to time, he tried to go to the city of 'Becke', see if any creature or even a survivor had already killed the 'Smiling Fang'. That was the name Drayan gave when he first saw the macabre smile of a dog the size of a truck.

Drayan also strengthened his body and enhanced his dagger skills. He didn't know if he had what it takes to defeat Fang right now, so he just wanted to say 'Hi' to Smiling Fang and see if he was still alive.
