Chapitre 4: Kyra
After the fall of the Tanko, everyone was speechless. But what had really happened? In that split second after dodging the attack, Yuri had landed a calculated punch to the stomach of the Tanko that knocked the wind out of him and he fell unconscious. His partner looked at Yuri. He was furious and shot at Yuri who dodged again, but before he could counter strike, a girl jumped on top of him and poured red sauce on his head. She was a beautiful girl with a curvy body, bold features and long dark silky hair. This girl was Kyra. She told Yuri to play dead no matter what happened until the men were gone. He promised he would.
Kyra: Crying "Oh big brother. Why did you have to die? You know it's pointless to fight them. Why did you have to die?"
Tanko: "Huh? I was sure he dodged it. Well, if he's dead then it's all good, I guess. Wait, you girl, that's your brother?"
Kyra: "Well, it was."
Tanko: "He died before he could pay for his rudeness. You come with me. We'll see what we can do about that."
Yuri: "Wait, what are you..."
Kyra: "Quiet. Remember what you promised me. I don't know you, but the fact you dodged the poisoned arrow at that speed and survived the forest means your strong. If you live, I know you have no obligation to it, but maybe you can save this city someday."
Kyra left for the palace with the Tanko who was carrying his former comrade while the crowd was still shocked by the events that had just transpired. After they left, Tobi went and took Yuri to his home. He offered him some food and started to talk while he was eating.
Tobi: "Did you really survive the forest by yourself."
Yuri: "For the past year, yeah. Before that, this guy was training me to become strong in the forest."
Tobi: "I see. You do seem strong from that little display today, even though it was reckless."
Yuri: "Those guys weren't that strong, but everyone seemed scared of them. And what was with that girl today?"
Tobi: "Those guys aren't the issue. They're just underlings. It's their higher ups that have everyone terrified. And that girl today probably saved your life. Her name was Kyra."
Yuri: "Kyra huh. What do you mean saved my life? From what? What higher ups do those guys have."
Tobi explained everything with the Tanko and the situation in Daisuki to Yuri.
Tobi: "You're only the second outsider that I've told about the situation. I, and a few others are actually planning a revolt. Everything will be in place soon."
Yuri: "I see. But if all you said is true, what'll happen to Kyra?"
Tobi: "Well, she'll surely be punished for being affiliated with you. Maybe even killed."
Yuri: "I see. They said they were taking her to a castle. Where's that?"
Tobi took him outside, pointed to a hill and told him that was where it was. Yuri thanked him for the food and started walking steadily in one direction with a certain look on his face.
