Tobi catches up to Yuri and stops him from entering the city.
Tobi: "Wait you idiot. I'm not gonna be seen walking around with you like this… with your shabby clothes and all."
Yuri: "Hey… What are you trying to say man…"
Tobi: "What I'm trying to say is that we need to get you some new clothes. When we go in, that's the first thing we'll do."
Yuri: "Fine. But I can't be seen walking around with you either… with your plain clothes and all."
Tobi: "Hey- fine. I'll get some clothes too. Happy now."
Yuri: "Sounds good to me."
He runs off to find a clothes store.
Tobi: "That idiot. Rushing in like that. What's he thinking. Huh? What's this?" He sees a sign and moves closer to it. "Enter at your own peril, scratched out to risk? What does that even mean? Well, I guess it's too late now anyway."
He goes to town. The town is old-fashioned and most of the buildings have a classic look. There aren't many people in the street, but signs of life can be heard everywhere. Tobi finds the store Yuri is in. When he gets there, Yuri has already picked out some clothes.
Yuri: "How's this?"
Yuri is wearing a long sleeve, white dress shirt with the sleeves rolled up and a dark grey vest with black pants and boots to match. This shirt is untucked and he's has black open finger gloves on.
Tobi: "Not bad. But try this." He gives him a short, black jacket which he wears as a cape with his arms not in the sleeves.
Yuri: "This isn't bad you know. What are you gonna wear?"
Tobi gets an opened, short sleeve, long black jacket with a fire symbol on the back, and black pants and boots.
Yuri: "Shirtless huh? Pretty brave considering how your body looks." Laughs.
Tobi: "Shut up." He goes to the cashier. "So, how much is it?"
Yuri leaves. Tobi meets up with him a few minutes later.
Yuri: "So, how was it?"
Tobi: "Well, those clothes cost us all the money we have."
Yuri's stomach growls.
Yuri: "Oh. And I'm so hungry too."
Tobi: "You're the reason we're out of food idiot. Well, we've got no choice I guess. We've gotta find a job."
Yuri: "What a coincidence. Look over there."
They see a sign on a fabric store that says "help needed".
They go to check it out. They enter and see the owner of the store.
She looks like a middle-aged woman with long black hair and is in a black jacket with a blue blouse under it, black pants and boots and a hat.
Rachel: "Welcome. My name's Rachel, but to you guys it's boss."
Tobi: "But we haven't even told you if we're coming to work. We could be customers."
Rachel: "Customers?" She laughs "We don't get customers. If you're here it's because you're here to work… Um, I mean we're a booming business and you'll be heavily compensated for your work."
Tobi: "Hey, you just heard that didn't you."
Yuri laughs.
Yuri: "Anyway, what's the job and what's the pay gonna be like?"
She leads them to a very messed up room.
Tobi: "What happened here? A tornado passed through?"
Rachel: "The job's simple. Clean this up."
Tobi: "Please let me know when you get to the simple part."
Rachel: "I'll pay you •500."
Tobi: "500 dot?(Pronounced doe) Well, when you put it that way…"
Rachel: "Anyway, I'm counting on you."
Yuri: "Yeah, I'm counting on you."
Tobi: "Wait, where do you think you're going?"
Yuri: "Stuff to do. Let's meet at that restaurant across the street in like an hour. Unless you can't clean up in that time."
Tobi: "You know, I really am gonna kill you."
Yuri leaves and Rachel laughs at the situation. As he walks and begins to see more people, he notices that they are all rather formally dressed unlike Rachel. He doesn't think much of it though and moves on. He glimpses into the restaurant and notices that it is filled with people, but there was this one table that no one went near. He never really thought much of it because there were other empty tables. He leaves the restaurant and starts walking up the street. He sees a guy on a corner in a black hoodie and a cloth over his face.
Yuri: "This hoodlum may know."
He has a flashback of John Dingo telling him something.
He goes to the guy and asks, "Do you know someone called salamander or something like that?".
Guy: "Who are you anyway, just walking up to me like that."
Yuri flashes a spark of lightning and the guy decides to talk: "It's not salamander, it's Solomon Der. How do you not know of him? He's even made the list."
Yuri: "Huh?"
Guy: "Look, let's just say he's really bad news. He rarely comes here, but he owns basically all of the places except for this fabric store a few blocks from here."
Yuri: "I'm gonna need a bit more than that…"
Guy: "Wait. There's this restaurant. The guys he has in the town frequent it. They always go at around noon and sit at table 5, so it's always left empty for them. I can show you where it is…"
Yuri: "That's okay. I think I know it. Thanks for the help, um, Bob."
Guy: "That's not my name you know. In fact, I didn't even tell you a name."
Yuri leaves and heads back to the restaurant to meet up with Tobi.
