"Call him again," Veron instructed Skye for the fourth time that evening.

After everything Cozan told him about what happened to Karina and Nori, and also about the location of the place they were taken and were currently at, it took a lot of convincing from Skye and Gideon to stop him from heading there immediately.

Having called Gideon already three times, and knowing he was already on his way back, Veron still couldn't relax. He didn't trust the witches. He couldn't trust the inn or the owner. He couldn't trust anyone at that moment. Unless and until he has Karina within arm's reach, he didn't think he could calm down.
