Seeing that, Veron moved to stand in front of Salma and Gideon didn't hesitate to slaughter the vampire in front of him. However, seeing Veron already positioned to block Salma against the attack, he made no further move. Instead, he kept a watchful eye. 

Salma on the other hand didn't look bothered like someone who was being targeted. It warmed her heart to see Veron and Gideon move in her defense, but she could take care of herself. However, she didn't utter it.
