He couldn't stop himself from moving over to Shui Xian's side and asking him whether he was okay?

Shui Xian's response was also just as he had expected, "Still doing better than you."

Cui Xukun's lips twitched at his reply. "I was just worried seeing you laughing like a fool. But it seems I was wasting my worry on a jerk."

Shui Xian snorted, "Who asked you to be concerned about me? Even if I really lose my mind, you'd still be the last person whose concern would be needed!"

"Have you been eating bitter gourds all these years?" asked Cui Xukun. "Why is it that everything that comes out of your mouth sounds so bitter?"
