Chapitre 6: Rescue
John walked out of the building after kicking everyone. He is back to his car and drove to the direction of Kingpin. John saw many things in his way, Gangsters, drugs, smuggled item crates. When he is halfway though, he is greeted by a screeching sound and a crash happened.
A car is driven by a woman, she has a kid in the back of the car hid in the seat. Shots rang as gangsters tried to shoot her. John frowned and get out of his car. He in one jump smashed a car chasing this woman. The woman looked nervous and protected the child in the back of car.
John looked at the gangsters surrounding them and they asked," Who the fuck are you? Boy, you successfully angered us. Step aside we'll talk later. After killing this woman we'll take care of you make you paybacl for the car by digging your prgans up".
His words are answered by a punch so strong that it's shattered the head of the gangster. It happened in the blink of an eye when no one can react. All others took out their guns and fired at him only for the bullets to be stopped before they can reach him.
John opened his hands and created a ball of energy. [ Tier 4 magic : Guiding missile barrage ]. An area of effect magic that slaughtered many giants. It's a spell created by him using magic missile and homing sight which is his own spell to track the target. He targetted all the gangsters anx used this to eliminated them all in one single swoop.
He then looked at the woman and the son. Frowning he offered to take them to their destination. The woman agreed and thanked with stuttering words," T-thank you for helping us ", John just nodded and didn't say anything. He thought she might be a normal woman accidentally arrived in hell's kitchen or a rich wife of someone that is targetted.
She pointed to the Fisk building making him stunned. He asked her," What is your name?", the woman said," Vanessa Fisk ", John took a deep breath. He wanted to kill Kingpin but ended up saving Kingpin's wife. 'What a turn of events'. He thought.
Venessa seen by the guards immediately escorted her and the boy who is trembling into the building while she said to the guards pointing guns at john," No don't. He is the one who saved us ".
The guards laowered their guns and a burly man cake running. He looked rip with his muscles that even the coat did nothing to hide. He looked big compared to get others. He held venessa and the kid dearly with soft grip and lokked John before saying," Thank you for saving my wife and child ".
John just nodded while Wilson Fisk invited him into the building. Wilson appeared after sometime. He consoled venessa and Richard. John looked at Wilson Fisk and bullseye that appeared. Bullseye shook in his place as soon as he appeared.
Kingpin poured some brandy and said," I'm sorry for the trouble I caused Mr wells. Rest assured from now on, I'll make sure no one in the underworld point their fangs at you. I'm a person who remembers the help that someone provided me. You saved my wife and son. I cherish my family the most in this world. If you need any help, you can call me. I'll try my best to help. I'm grateful to you for saving them both ".
John looked at kingpin and drink the brandy that is poured he then said," Since all of this ended. I'll take my leave, the second part of Harry Potter is almost finished ", Wilson eyes shined as he asked," Mr John how about a business deal. Don't worry it's not like the previous one. It'll create atleast 20% more revenue for you. As for the previous one contract with another publishing house, just leave it to me. It'll be here in ten minutes".
John nodded. More money anyway. After a few minutes the previous contract with the publishing house is burned and they made a new one. So without conflict John got a helper that will help him preventing the underworld from disturbing him and a new contract that will earn him more money.
Wilson then asked an autograph on the books of John. He said Richard is a fan of John.
